KORELASI PENAMBANGAN GALIAN C DENGAN SOSIAL EKONOMI
MASYARAKAT DAN LINGKUNGAN DI DESA MANGKAI LAMA
KECAMATAN LIMA PULUH KABUPATEN BATU BARA
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap
tersedianya lapangan kerja dan kesempatan usaha serta mengetahui korelasi
penambangan galian C dengan peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat serta korelasi
penambangan galian C dengan lingkungan yang berupa kerusakan fisik permukaan
tanah di Desa Mangkai Lama, Kecamatan Lima Puluh, Kabupaten Batu Bara. Pada
penelitian ini dilakukan pengumpulan data dari bulan April sampai bulan Juni 2011.
Data hasil kuisioner diolah dan dilakukan uji statistik korelasi Rank Sperman dengan
bantuan software SPSS 15.00. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa
1). Masyarakat memberikan persepsi persetujuan bahwa penambangan bahan galian
C membuka peluang terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja dan kesempatan usaha.
2). Penambangan bahan galian C di Desa Mangkai Lama, Kecamatan Lima Puluh,
Kabupaten Batu Bara memberikan korelasi yang kuat terhadap meningkatnya
pendapatan masyarakat di sekitar lokasi penambangan. 3). Penambangan bahan
galian C di Desa Mangkai Lama, Kecamatan Lima Puluh, Kabupaten Batu Bara juga
menunjukkan korelasi yang kuat dengan kerusakan fisik lingkungan seperti, terjadi
lubang-lubang besar dan dalam akibat dari lahan bekas penambangan bahan galian C,
terjadinya longsor, rusaknya jalan-jalan di desa serta banyaknya debu akibat lalu
lintas truk pengangkut bahan galian C.
Kata Kunci: Penambangan bahan galian C, Korelasi penambangan galian C dengan
sosial ekonomi masyarakat dan lingkungan.

CORRELATION OF MINEWORKER OF DIG C TO
ECONOMIC SOCIAL OF SOCIETY AND ENVIRONMENT IN COUNTRYSIDE
MANGKAI LAMA SUBDISTRICT OF LIMA PULUH, REGENCY OF BATU BARA
ABSTRACT
This research aims to know the correlation of mining of dig C to economic
social of society and environment which is in the form of make-up of labour,
opportunity of is effort and make-up of society earnings and also correlation of
mining dig C on the environment which is in the form of physical damage in land
ground surface in countryside Mangkai Lama subdistrict of Lima Puluh, regency of
Batu Bara. At this research is conducted by a data collecting from April until June
2011. The data is processed and the result of questionnaires carried out statistical test
of correlation Rank Sperman with the help of SPSS 15.00 software. From the
research result can be concloded that the public percepcion of mining dig C in
countryside Mangkai Lama, subdistrict of Lima Puluh, regency of Batu Bara gives a
positive correlation to economic social of society conditions in society is to increase
peoples income that is at the height of society earnings, the available of work field
and opening of opportunity of is effort around location. The mining dig C in
countryside Mangkai Lama, subdistrict of Lima Puluh, regency of Batu Bara also
showed a significant relationship with physical damage to the environment such as
large holes occur and the result of former mining of dig C, occurrence of landslides,
damage to roads in the countryside and also to the number of dirt of effect of process
the dig and traffic of delivery truck of substance of dig C.

ABSTRAK
