This AMENDMENT No . 2 is entered into between the REPUBLIC OF
INDONESIA ("Borro\.rer") and the UNITED STATES of Ar-fERICA acting
through the AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ("A. I. D. 11 ) .
WHEREAS, the Borrower and A.I.D. entered into a Loan Agreement
designated as Citanduy II, A.I.D. Project No . 497 - 0281, Loan No.
497-T-063 on September 29, 1980 ("Loan Agreement''), whereby A. I.D.
agreed to lend to the Borrower up to Twelve Million United States
Dollars ($12,000,000)("Loan") to assist the Borrower's program to
establish and catalyze local and national capacity to design and
implement a comprehensive watershed management program in selected
areas of the Citanduy Basin, develop additional irrigation systems,
achieve and sustain irrigated food production at feasibility study
projected levels in all basin technical irrigation systems, and
improve local government capacity in the basin to plan and manage
integrated rural development.
WHEREAS, the Borrower and A.l.D. amended the Loan Agreement on
June 10, 1982 increasing the Loan to $ 15,500,000 and
WHEREAS, the Borrower and A.I.D. desire to amend thP Loan
Agreement again to add Three Million One Hundred Thousand United

States Dollars ($3, 100 ,000) to the loan thereby increasing the Loan
to $18,600,000.
NOW, THEREFORE , the Borrower and A. I . D. hereby agree as follows:
1.
The first paragraph of Section 3 . 1 . of the Loan Agreement is
revised to read as follows:
"Section 3 . 1.
The Loan .
To assist the Borrower to meet
the costs of carrying out the Project, A. I.D . , pursuant to the
Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended, agrees to lend the
Borrower under the terms of this Agreement not to exceed Eighteen
Mill ion Six Hundred Thousand United States ("U.S.") Dollars
($18,600,000) ("Loan").
The aggregate amount of disbursements under
the Loan is referred to as "Prine ipal" . "
2.
A revised financial plan is attached hereto as Annex I to
this Amendment.
3.
Except as hereinabove expressly amended, the Loan Agreement
is ratified, confirmed and continued in full force and effect in
accordance with all of its terms.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Borrower and the United States of
America, each acting through its respective duly authorized
representative, have caused this Amendment No . 2 to be signed in
their names and delivered as of the day ann year first above written.
