PERSETUDJUAN

KERDJASAMA TEKNIK, ILMIAH DAN KEBUDAJAAN
BERHASRAT

: Menana.mkan suatu dasar jang lebih kokoh untuk hul:ungan
persaudaraan antara Pemerintah dan bangsa masing-masing,

MEMPER.TIMB.ANGKAN: Kepentingan bersama dalam mempertinggi dan mengenbangkan
ilmiah, teknologi dan kebudajaan mereka,
BERKEJAKINAN

Bahwa saling kerdjassma dilapangan teknik, ilmiah dan

kebudajaan akan memperbesar kemakmuran bangsa dan negara
ma sing-ma.sing, dan

MENGAKUI

: Bahwa keuntungan jang tidak terhingga dapa t ditjapii oleh
kedua negara dari usaha jang berharga ini tentang kerdjasama
teknik, ilmiah clan kebudajaan, Pemerintah Republik Indonesia
dan Pemerintah Republik Demokrasi Rakja t Korea telah mentjapd
persetudjuan sebagai berikut :

PASAL I
Kedua belah pihak akan berusaha mewudjudkan kerdjasama dan
saling membantu dalam batas-batas kesanggupannja dan kemungkinannja tentang
persoalan-persoalan teknik, ilmiah dan kebudajaan dilapangan-lapangan jang
mungkin dapat disetudjui oleh kedua belah pihak. Kerdjasama teknik, ilmiah

PASAL II
Untuk melaksanakan persetudjuan kerdja sama teknik, ilmiah
dan kebuda.jaan sebagai tersebut dalam pasal I diatas, usaha-usaha jang berikut
akan di laksanakan :

a. pertukaran tenaga teknik, tenaga-tenaga ahli dan penasehat-penasehat,
b. bantuan timbal balik untuk tudjuan menetapkan luas lapangan pekerdjaan
jang timbul dari projek-projek j ang bersangkutan dengan rentjana-rentjana
pembangunan dari kedua negara,
o. pertukaran dokumen-dokumen teknik, ilmiah dan kebudajaan, termasuk pilem
bioskop, bahan2 radio, buku2, madjalah2 dan lain2 penerbitan,
d. pertimba.ngan-pertimbangan timbal balik tentang persoalan-persoalan teknik,
organisasi dan ketatalaksanaan,
e. pertuka.ran sardje.na, scientist dan mahasiswa2,

f'. latihan praktis dalam perusahaan industri dan lanbaga-lemb98a teknik,

g. bersama-sama mEllgadakan peneii tian ilmiah serta penggunaannJa,
h. pertukaran rombongen2 kebudajaan, olahraga, wartawan dan lain2 ranboogan
muhibah,
i. saling menga.dakan pameran2 kebudajaan, pendidikan dan perdagan&in,
j . bentuk-bentuk kerdjasa.ma lain dalam telmik, ilmiah ugh separate agreements concluded
between appropriate Indonesian and Koreai organs in the governmental as we1 as
in the private sector, in which the scope and tenns of mutua1 contribution shall

be established.
Article IV.
The payments of expenses incurred in carrying out of the technical, scientific and cultural cooperation provided in the present Agreement shall be established in each individual case through contracts and agreement as mentioned in
Article III.

In accordance with the existing laws

regulations, both Governments shall

grant to the citizens of either Contracting Country sent to the other under this
agreement, all assistance necessary to facilitate his work and assure the succesf'ul performance of his task.
Article VI.
The prov:i.Bions of this Agreement shall also apply to all persons who, upon

eff'ectivity of this Agreement, are alrea4Y active in territories of the Contracting Parties within the framework of technical cooperation made available by the
Goveronents of the Contracting Parties.
Article VII.

For the purpose of assessing the eff'ective implementation of this Agreement,
the Contracting Parties shall undertake perlodic assessment of the progress and

problems of the implementation of this Agreement, and shall undertake such measures as to maximiae the benefit that may be derived from the technical,

scientific ani cultural cooperation.

Article VIII.

This Agreement shall be valid for a period of one year.
In case neither of the Contracting Parties shall have given notice three

months before the expirations of said period ot its intention to terminate
this Agreement, it will by tacit understanding be prolonpd each time tor

another period of one year.
The proviaions aet forth in this Agreement ahall ccme into :force provisi-

oJJall3 on the day of the signing of this Agreement.
They will definitely cane into force atter an exchange of notes to that
effect between the two Governments and shall remain in force for a period of
one

year.
