Potensi Pekarangan Sebagai Ruang Terbuka Hijau (Rth) Diperumahan Kota Kecamatan Indramayu (Studi Kasus Diperumahan Btn Lama Dan Btn Bumi Mekar Kota Indramayu ).
ABSTRAK
Pekarangan merupakan bagian dari Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) kota yang
terdapat di perumahan kota Kecamatan Indramayu, seiring dengan kebutuhan
lahan untuk ruang terbangun, maka luas lahan pekarangan yang ada di perumahan
banyak yang telah berubah fungsi. Padahal keberadaan pekarangan sebagai RTH
privat sangat dibutuhkan untuk membantu RTH publik sebagai penyeimbang
ekosistem di lingkungan perkotaan. Tujuan penelitian adalah ingin mengetahui
luas pekarangan yang potensial sebagai RTH pada berbagai tipe rumah dan
luasannya serta ingin mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan luas pekarangan
sebagai RTH dengan fungsi ekologis pekarangan di perumahan kota Kecamatan
Indramayu.
Penelitian menggunakan metode kombinasi (mixed method) yaitu suatu
penggabungan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Metode penelitian kuantitatif
digunakan untuk meneliti pada populai atau sampel tertentu, pengumpulan data
menggunakan instrumen penelitian, analisis bersifat kuantitatif/statistik, metode
penelitian kualitatif digunakan untuk meneliti pada kondisi obyek alamiah,
dimana peneliti sebagai instrumen kunci, analisis bersifat induktif/kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian bahwa luas pekarangan yang paling potensial sebagai
RTH yang berfungsi sebagai fungsi ekologis dan estetika terdapat pada tipe rumah
54 dengan luas pekarangan 27 m2, sedangkan tipe rumah 21, 27, 36 dan 45 yang
masing-masing mempunyai luas pekarangan 7,5 m2, 9,0 m2, 9,0 m2 dan 13,5 m2
kurang potensial sebagai RTH.

Terdapat hubungan antara luas pekarangan sebagai RTH dan fungsi
ekologis pada luas pekarangan 7,5 m2, 9,0 m2, 13,5 m2 dan 27 m2 dengan tipe
rumah 21, 27, 36, 45 dan 54 pada fungsi ekologis yang berhubungan dengan
fungsi konservasi fisik kota dan fungsi mendukung pelestarian keanekaragaman
hayati, sedangkan untuk fungsi iklim mikro untuk luas pekarangan 7,5 m2, 9,0 m2,
13,5 m2 tidak bisa dianalisis, untuk tipe rumah 54 bisa dianalisis dengan hasil
tidak ada hubungan antara luas pekarangan dengan fungsi iklim mikro.

ABSTRACT
Yard is a part of urban Green Open Space (Ruang Terbuka Hijau = RTH)
situated at an urban housing of Indramayu Subdistrict. In line with land need for a
built space, the land area of a yard situated at an housing has largely changed
functionally. Whereas the existence of yard as private RTH is highly required to
assist the public RTH for balancing the ecosystem of an urban environment. The
objectives of this research are to identify the area of yard potentially for RTH in
various types of houses and areas, as well as to identify whether there is a
relationship of yard area for RTH with the ecological function of yard in an urban
housing of Indramayu Subdistrict.
The study uses a combination of methods (mixed method) is an
amalgamation of quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative research
methods used to examine the populai or a particular sample, data collection using
the instruments of research, quantitative analysis / statistics, qualitative research
methods used to examine the condition of natural objects, which the researchers as
a key instrument, the analysis is inductive / qualitative.
The result of research shows that the yard area that is most potential for
RTH functioning as ecological function and esthetics is in the type 54 house with
the yard area of 27m2, while the yard areas of the houses of type 21, type 27, type
36, and type 45 are 7,5m2, 9,0m2, 9,0m2, and 13,5 m2 less than the potential for
RTH, respectively.

There is a relationship between the area of the garden as a green space and
ecological functions in the yard area 7,5 m2, 9,0 m2, 13,5 m2 and 27 m2 with a
house type 21, 27, 36, 45 and 54 on the ecological functions associated with the
function of conservation physical functions of the city and conservation of
biological diversity, while for the function of micro climate for the yard area 7,5
m2, 9,0 m2, 13,5 m2 and 27 m2 can not be analyzed, for the type of housing 54 can
be analyzed with the results of no association between the area of the yard with of
microclimate function.
