PERBANDINGAN INTENSITAS WARNA CPO DENGAN
MENGGUNAKAN BLEACHING EARTH (BE)
DAN SPENT BLEACHING EARTH (SBE)
DI PT. SMART Tbk

ABSTRAK

Telah dilakukan penelitian perbandingan intensitas warna CPO dengan
menggunakan bleaching earth (BE) dan spent bleaching earth (SBE)
menggunakan Alat Lovibond Tintometer model F di PT Smart Tbk Medan –
Belawan. Dari percobaan diperoleh warna awal pada CPO 20R – 20Y
setelah penambahan Bleaching Earth dan spent bleaching earth pada CPO
masing – masing 10,2R – 20Y dan 17.3R – 20Y. Dari hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa pemucatan menggunakan Bleaching Earth lebih baik
dibandingkan dengan pemucatan Spent Bleaching Earh

ABSTRACT

Comparative studies have been conducted on the effect of bleaching earth
quality bleachibility power on CPO (crude palm oil). by using the tool
Lovibond Tintometer model of F in PT Smart Tbk Medan – Belawan.From
experiments obtained initial color with the CPO 20R - 20Y after addition
Bleaching Earth and spent bleaching earth with the CPO each - each 10,2R 20Y and 17.3R - 20Y . The results showed that purification using Bleaching
Earth better than the purification of Spent Bleaching Earh
