PERKEMBANGAN PERUSAHAAN

COMPANY DEVELOPMENT

PT DAHANA (Persero) adalah Badan Usaha Milik
Negara yang berawal dari sebuah proyek
Pemerintah (TNI-AU) di Pangkalan Udara
Tasikmalaya pada tahun 1966. PT DAHANA
(Persero) kemudian diresmikan menjadi perusahaan
umum berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah No. 36
tahun 1973. Kemudian berdasarkan PP No. 17 tahun
1991 status hukum perusahaan berubah menjadi
Perseroan Terbatas.

PT DAHANA (Persero) is a State-Owned Enterprise,
previously a project of the Indonesian Air Force (TNIAU). Dahana formally became to a public corporation
based on Government Ordinance (PP) No. 36 year
1973, and change its legal status to be Limited
Liability Company (PT) by (PP) No. 17 year 1991.

Sebagai pionir industri, PT DAHANA (Persero)

menyeluruh baik untuk bench blasting, trenchblasting, tunnelblasting, cautious blasting ataupun

explosives, comprehensive blasting service provider
for bench blasting, trench blasting, tunnel blasting,

loading down the hole, efficient blast design, blast
timing and design configuration, field control of
ground vibration air blast and flyrock, rock mucking,

Seluruh karyawan PT DAHANA (Persero) yang saya
banggakan serta mitra usaha yang saya hormati. Puji
syukur ke hadirat Allah yang Maha Kuasa, karena
atas karunia-Nya, PT DAHANA (Persero) dapat terus
berkarya untuk mendukung pertumbuhan
perekonomian di Indonesia.

To all PT DAHANA (Persero) whom I am proud of and
to all of the partners whom I respect, I would like to
express my gratitude to Allah the almighty by whose
favor PT DAHANA (Persero) is able to continue to
work to support economy growth in Indonesia.

Sejak tahun 1966, PT DAHANA (Persero) berkiprah
sebagai salah satu perusahaan terkemuka milik
negara Republik Indonesia dengan kinerja usaha
yang terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Pasang
surut pun dialaminya seiring dengan pasang surut
perekonomian nasional, akan tetapi tidak pernah
menyurutkan semangat kerja seluruh jajaran
Perseroan untuk senantiasa meraih hasil yang
terbaik.

Since 1966 PT DAHANA (Persero) has been in its
progress as one of the leading state owned
companies with continuously growing performance
each year. Along with national economy situation,
this company also has had the ups and downs, but it
will never reduce the entire company staff's spirit to
keep achieving the best results.

Dalam pengembangan PT DAHANA (Persero) ke
depan kami berpedoman kepada Road Map
perusahaan tahun 2010-2014. Pada tahun 2010
perusahaan telah memasuki tahap pertumbuhan
(growth) dengan cukup menggembirakan. Di saat
sebagian besar industri mengalami penurunan
kinerja sebagai akibat dari krisis global yang melanda
dunia, PT DAHANA (Persero) telah berhasil meraih
berbagai pencapaian dengan menjalankan berbagai
strategi usaha.

In the development of PT DAHANA (Persero) in the
future, we use the company's Road Map of 20102014 as our guide. In 2010 the company quite
pleasantly entered the growth stage. When most of
the leading industries had the business down in their
performance as a result of the global crisis in the
world, PT DAHANA (Persero) accomplished various
achievements by implementing various business
strategies.

Strategi usaha tersebut terdiri dari : melakukan
pengembangan usaha menjadi service provider,
melakukan perluasan pasar untuk produk-produk
jasa drilling & blasting, melakukan aliansi strategis
dengan pemasok dan atau pelanggan, serta
melakukan diversifikasi usaha dalam lingkup
kompetensi inti.

The business strategies comprised: developing
business into service provider, expanding the market
of products of drilling and blasting services, having
strategic alliance with suppliers and or customers,
and diversifying business in core competencies.

Pencapaian 2010
Syukur Alhamdulillah tahun 2010 telah dapat dilalui
dengan kinerja yang cukup baik, meskipun
tantangan yang dihadapi oleh PT DAHANA (Persero)
lebih berat dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya. Pada
tahun ini perusahaan mencatatkan penjualan
sebesar Rp 490 M, atau hanya mencapai 72% dari
target yang ditetapkan dalam RKAP. Sedangkan
apabila dibandingkan dengan tahun 2009
pendapatan PT DAHANA (Persero) turun sebesar
21%.

Achievements in 2010
We praise God that the year 2010 has been gone
through with quite good a performance although the
challenge that PT DAHANA (Persero) had to face
was even harder than that of the previous year. In this
year, the company had the sales of Rp 490 billion, or
only reached 72% of the given target in RKAP. If it is
compared to 2009, PT DAHANA (Persero)'s income
decreased by 21%.

Sales achievements in 2010 are as follows:
Pencapaian penjualan di tahun 2010 adalah sebagai
berikut:
1. Meningkatnya pendapatan usaha dari Explosive
manufacturing mencapai 108.23% dari target
sebagai dampak dari peningkatan ekspor.
2. Pencapaian pendapatan usaha dari jasa Drilling &
Blasting Serviice hanya mencapai 61,93% dari
target.
3. Meningkatnya pendapatan usaha dari Related
Services sebesar 104.5% dari target.

Ketidaktercapaian target penjualan ini dipengaruhi
oleh beberapa faktor antara lain :
1. Penguatan kurs rupiah terhadap USD
2. Penguatan drastis harga AN
3. Hujan yang berkepanjangan menghambat
kegiatan operasional
4. Faktor regulasi dan harmonisasi antar sektor

Sales target accomplishment failure is caused by
several factors such as:
1. Increased Rupiah value against USD
2. Drastic increase
3. Continuous rainfall that hindered operational
activities
4. Inter-sector regulation and harmony

Terlepas dari ketidaktercapaian tersebut, kita patut
bersyukur karena perusahaan mampu melakukan
efisiensi atas beban langsung dan beban usaha dan
mencatatkan laba usaha sebesar Rp 99,95 M.

Apart from those failures, we should be grateful since
the company was able to perform efficiency upon
cost of good sold and acquired profit operating cost
of Rp 99.95 billion.

Sementara itu realisasi laba bersih perusahaan
mencapai Rp 59,45 M atau mengalami penurunan
sebesar 36% dari Rp 92,67 M di tahun 2009.

Meanwhile, the company's net profit realization was
Rp 59.45 billion or had a decrease of 36% from Rp
92.67 billion in 2009.

Pencapaian tersebut di atas tentunya tidak terlepas
dari dukungan dan kerja keras kita semua dalam
bekerja, dan ini tentunya menjadi bahan evaluasi
bagi perusahaan yang kita cintai ini agar dapat
meningkatkan competitive advantage dalam
menghadapi persaingan era global sebagaimana
yang tercermin pada visi perusahaan "Menjadi
industri nasional yang terunggul yang bergerak di
bidang bahan berenergi tinggi dengan menghasilkan
produk dan jasa yang berdaya saing tinggi dan
ramah lingkungan”.

The above accomplishment is certainly closely
related to support and all of our strong efforts, and
this certainly has become an evaluation to our
beloved company so as to be able to improve
competitive advantage in facing global competition
just like reflected in company's vision “To become
the leading national industry in the field of highly
energetic materials by producing products and
services which are highly competitive and
environment friendly”.

Menuju High Performance Organization
Perubahan hukum dan undang-undang di Indonesia
telah menumbuhkan suatu pola bisnis baru yang
menyebabkan masuknya pesaing di sektor handak
(bahan peledak) dalam negeri. Harapan para
pemangku kepentingan kepada perusahaan ini pun
semakin tinggi, dan pemerintah mengharapkan
dividen yang lebih besar dapat diberikan oleh
perusahaan kepada negara. Selain itu, dalam
kerangka Good Corporate Governance, PT
DAHANA (Persero) perlu melaksanakan bisnis yang
transparan dan bersih. Hal ini juga menjadi tekad
pemerintah untuk memastikan transparansi dan
profesionalisme dalam sektor bisnis.

Heading Towards High Performance
Organization
Changes in laws and regulations in Indonesia have
yielded a new business pattern that caused
competitors to enter the home country in explosive
sector. Consequently, stakeholders have a higher
hope of the company, and the government expects
that a higher dividend could be given by the
company to the nation. Besides, the mind frame of
Good Corporate Governance, PT DAHANA (Persero)
needs to implement a transparent and clean
business. This, too, has become the government's
determination to ensure transparency and
professionalism in business sector.

Kami menyadari tekad yang kuat dari seluruh
pemangku kepentingan untuk mempertahankan
sekaligus mengembangkan PT DAHANA (Persero).
Kami juga berharap transformasi menuju masa
depan dapat berjalan dengan baik, sehingga dapat
menjawab harapan para pemangku kepentingan

Di sisi lain, ekspektasi semakin meningkat dan akan
terus meningkat, seiring dengan meningkatnya
tuntutan customer. Namun dengan bekal
pengalaman yang kami miliki dan kemauan keras
seluruh karyawan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi,
serta konsistensi dalam penerapan strategi, kami
merasa yakin mampu memberikan pelayanan
terbaik berupa total solusi di bidang handak, jasa
peledakan, dan bisnis terkait lainnya, yang
berkelanjutan untuk memenuhi tuntutan ekspektasi
yang semakin meningkat dan memberikan
kepuasan kepada para customer.

On the other side, expectation is getting higher and
higher along with the increase of customers'
demands. However, with the experience that we
have and strong willingness of the entire employees
to improve competency, as well as consistency in
