DESIRING to develop and promote cooperation in the area of finance for the benefit
of Member States;

NOTING the accession of Cambodia, Lao PDR and Myanmar in 2000 to the

Understanding on ASEAN Cooperation in ｆｩｮ｡｣･ｾ＠

RECOGNISING the decision of the Spectal ASEAN Finance Ministers Meeting on

ｾＡＵ＠
Noyember 1999 in Manila, Phil!ppines to the estabiishment of the ASEAN
Fmance and Central Bank Deputies fv1eeting (AFDIVI). replacing the ASEAN Senior
Officials Meeting ＨａｓｆｏｍＩｾ＠

DO HEREBY AGREE THAT:

IN \VITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned, being duly authorized to sign
by their respective Governments, have signed the Protocol to Amend the
