ABSTRAK
Perhatian masyarakat terhadap hasil utama dari domba adalah karkas,
namun dewasa ini masyarakat mulai memperhatikan nonkarkas sebagai hasil
ikutan yang juga mempunyai nilai komersial seperti kepala, kaki, kulit, dan
jeroan, maka penelitian mengenai persentase kepala, kaki, kulit, dan jeroan
Domba Garut betina yearling dilaksanakan Tanggal 22 Desember 2013 - 21
Januari 2014 bertempat di rumah potong rakyat Desa Pabedahan, Garut, Jawa
Barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui persentase kepala, kaki, kulit,
dan jeroan Domba Garut betina yearling, penelitian mengunakan metode survey
dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling,
sehingga diperoleh 60 ekor Domba Garut betina yearling. Rataan bobot potong
Domba Garut betina yearling adalah 29,38 kg ± 3,28 kg dengan koefisien
variasinya 11,16%, menghasilkan persentase kepala, kaki, kulit, dan jeroan secara
berturut-turut adalah 6,35%, 2,22%, 9,09%, dan 13,30%.

ABSTRACT
Public attention to the primary outcome was the carcass of a sheep, but
these days people are starting to take notice noncarcass as a by-product which also
has commercial value such as the head, legs, skin, and viscera, the research on the
percentage of head, legs, skin, and viscera Garut Ewe Yearling, held on
December 22, 2013 - January 21, 2014 at abattoir, Pabedahan village, Garut, West
Java. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of head, legs,
skin, and viscera Garut Ewe Yearling, using the method of survey sampling
techniques by purposive sampling, in order to obtain 60 head of Sheep Yearling
females. Mean slaughter weight Garut Ewe Yearling was 29.38 kg ± 3.28 kg with
a coefficient of variation of 11,16%, resulting in a percentage of head, legs, skin,
and viscera were respectively 6.35%, 2.22%, 9.09%, and 13.30%.
