B. Suggestions

The result of this research needs a lot of improvement because the topic coverage is still very wide so that further researches need to be conducted. Based on the research findings, discussion, and conclusions, some students did not have good interest in English subjects. They were still affected by their learning environment to direct their learning mood in good condition. Therefore, English teachers should create good atmosphere of English lesson so that students are able to interact each other. The previous suggestion supports the conclusion of relation study from Curry 1990 that learners’ social environment determines their learning implication. Peer-to-peer interaction among students will enlighten and refresh their minds in having preferred learning styles. If they already construct their learning styles and comprehend their speaking abilities, good academic performance will come next. Since English is the language for global communication, the awareness of the importance of English needs to be established. Conducting interactive speaking activities are the appropriate ways to encourage students’ interest in English. School as the formal place for students to explore their English speaking ability should organize proper curriculum so that students are able to perform their creativities in speaking English. Various competitions of English speaking need to be conducted so that students are more familiar with English speaking use. School should also provide complete facilities related to English study such as English dictionaries, English laboratories, and discussion with English native speakers so that students are able their potential in English speaking. The previous suggestion supports the conclusion of related study from Richmond and Cummings 2005 123 with regards to the important role of learning material designs to improve students’ educational outcome.
