1973 Amendment A
Adoption
A conference of Contracting Governments to the Convention convened in accordance with the provisions of article IX and held at London in November 1973 adopted an amended article VII.
B. Entry into force
The 1973 Amendment entered into force on 2 June 1984.

The Netherlands Antilles has ceased to exist as an autonomous country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands with effect from 10 October 2010.

The instrument of acceptance was accompanied by the following declaration in the French language: [Translation]
In the view of the Government of the French Republic, the provisions of article VII 2d apply to all amendments adopted under the terms of paragraph 3 of that article.

The instrument of acceptance was accompanied by a declaration in the English language that the said amendment
” shall also apply to Berlin West with effect from the date on which it enters into force for the Federal Republic of Germany.

Proposal by Party to the Convention and Secretariat action
On 28 November 1969, in Note Verbale AlF2.04 NV.2, the Secretary-General communicated to the Parties to the Convention for acceptance the text of a draft amendment to the Annex of the Convention proposed by
the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
