Historical Projection
berkembang mulai tahun 2016, maka diharapkan penggunaan bahan
daya angkut penumpang sebesar 3,67 juta penumpang per hari.
MRT with electric train technology is assumed to be developed
beginning in 2016. It can be expected that the use of gasoline
fuel will be reduced and replaced by electrical energy. The MRT
project will be implemented in Jakarta, and by 2030, MRT lines
line North - South and 2 lines East - West will be in operation with a
total passenger capacity of 3.67 million passengers per day.

Under the MRT acceleration, the share of electricity in 2030 is
expected to increase reaching up to 2.2 of total final energy in the
transportation sector. MRT is suitable especially in big cities like
Jakarta, Surabaya and Medan. Development of the MRT in other
large cities to a significant capacity will be able to reduce the use of oil
fuels in the transportation sector.
