Procedures for research and information collecting
a. Making some observations in the classroom.
b. Distributing the pre-design questionnaires for the sixth grade students.
c. Interviewing the English teacher.
2. Procedures for planning
a. Specifying goals, topics, and purposes of the material design. b. Specifying learning objectives.
3. Procedures for develop preliminary form of product a. Designing supplementary English instructional vocabulary materials.
b. Listing the subject content, specific knowledge in every unit. c. Selecting the teaching-learning activities and resources.
4. Procedures for preliminary field testing a. Distributing post-design questionnaires 1 for the English teacher, the
English instructors, and the lecturer. b. Collecting the data from the respondents’ opinions, suggestions, and
evaluations.
5. Procedures for main product revision
a. Analyzing the results of the questionnaires. b. Revising and improving the deign materials based on the feedback.
6. Procedures for main field testing
a. Implementing the materials design for the sixth grade students.
b.Distributing post-design questionnaires 2 for the sixth grade students.
c. Continuing to revise and improve the design materials based on the
feedback.
7. Procedures for operational product revision
a. Revising the materials to improve the whole materials design.
b. Making the final version of the supplementary English
instructional vocabulary materials.

CHAPTER IV RESEARCH FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION
In this chapter, the writer tried to answer the questions dealing with the objectives of the study. This chapter would like to answer two questions in the
problem formulation. There were two ideas which were going to explain in this chapter. First, this chapter was going to explain the design of supplementary English
instructional vocabulary materials using realia as the media for the sixth grade students of Kanisius Babadan elementary school. Second, the writer was going to
explain about the designed implementation.

There were six 6 instructional design steps employed by the writer to clarify the design of supplementary English instructional vocabulary materials using realia as
the media for the sixth grade students, namely: Conducting need survey Yalden, Considering goals, topics, and purposes Kemp, Specifying learning objectives
Kemp, Listing the subject content Kemp, Selecting teaching learning activities and resources Kemp, and Conducting evaluation Kemp.
