4.9 Spatial Information
Spatial information is very important and needed in decision making process. In GIS, there are some information that can be displayed by map layer. In this study, there
are some layers to be used, e.g. road, river, industry distribution, monitoring site,
administrative and basin boundaries Figure 67. The additional layer can be added
anytime, depending on need of analysis.

4.9.1 Searching The Industry Location
The systems can search the location of industry from the listing by combo box according to names of RegencyDistrict, Sub District and Village and its type of
production based on ISIC Code, then clicking “Cari” to get the industry shown by the
yellow color Figure 62. According to the spatial system, if the Tips Map facility be
activated, then we can choose the name of layer and its attribute to show the pop up

will appear Cipamingkis River. The other layer can be loaded also as well as river layer

4.9.2 Layer Editing
Generally in GIS, we can do the layer editing, e.g. change the color mode, change
the legend, make the class of fixture, change the font of the label etc Figure 69.a and Figure 69.b

4.9.3 River Name Editing
The spatial sub system of IWMS can do inputting or editing of river name. By clicking a certain river segment in the map shown in red line an edit command
‘masukan nama sungai’ will appear. Then click to River_Name in example Feature_Id is
3470 and filled up the form, for instance the new river name is ‘Cimelati’ Figure 70.

4.9.4 Industrial Profile
From Spatial Map, several information of database by using pop up menu can be
shown especially industry profile and monitoring site as presented in Figure 71.

4.9.5 Monitoring Site
The profile of monitoring site can be loaded from the maps. The retrieving form of monitoring site consisting of some information’s about the locations administration
and geography coordinate is shown in Figure 72.

4.9.6 Evaluation of River Pollution Status
In the spatial format, the river pollution was represented by monitoring site. The status of pollution in the river depends on the pollution analysis of each monitoring site.
Therefore, the distribution of river pollution status in the maps could be described as
