Since the students needed various activities, the writer created various teachinglearning activities for them. In the design, the activities were not only question and answer but also ordering, listing, matching, arranging sentences, watching videos, and filling in the blanks. The activities in the listening materials could also be conducted by an individual, in pairs, or in groups. The activities were divided into four sections, such as Warming Up, L et’s Go, Your Focus Today, and Cooling Down. The pre-activity was called Warming Up. In this section, the writer gave some activities, such as guessing some pictures, answering some questions, listening to a song, watching a video, and matching some pictures with the recordings. In the L et’s Go section, the students were given some activities, such as repeating some expressions, completing a dialogue, answering some questions, matching some pictures with the recordings, and arranging some sentences. In Your Focus Today section, the teacher could explain some expressions used in the topic, then the students were expected to use the expressions that they learnt to make a dialogue or sentences in order to know their understanding about the topic that they learnt. In other words, the students were expected to practice the language that they had learnt. In the post-activities called Cooling Down, the students had a reflection about what they had learnt by answering some questions. Besides deciding the 61 activities of the listening materials, the writer also determined the resources or the media of the design. In order to support the teachinglearning activities, the writer used audio and audiovisual media in the form of recordings and videos as the resources.
