When the procurement organization uses for disaster products it had purchased for its own business, the products will be excluded from consideration as stockpiles for disaster. 4. In procuring PET bottled water, each procurement organization will take into consideration use of automatic vending machines equipped with the free-vend function, which is a disaster prevention measure that allows products inside the machine to be vended free of charge in case of distribution stockpile or an outbreak of disaster. 5. In procuring stockpiles for disaster , each procurement organization will design a system for storage and purchase of products based on their expiration date to enable adequate maintenance and regular renewal of storage and purchase quantities. 6. In order to lengthen the storage time of products, each procurement organization will consider a contract method that, for example, allows a set amount of time until delivery date, so that the supplier may prepare products that are as new as possible. 7. In order to consider environmental issues, reference will be made to “Designated PET Bottle Voluntary Design Guideline” created by PET Bottle Recycle Promotion Association when designing bottles, labelslabel printing, caps etc. 2 Target Setting Guideline Ratio of the number of PET bottled water meeting the criteria to the total number of PET bottled water purchased in the fiscal year. 177 18-2.
