ABSTRAK

Bahasa Slang atau yang sering disebut juga bahasa gaul atau bahasa prokem merupakan bahasa yang tidak memiliki kaidah struktur bahasa. Bahasa Slang sering dipergunakan oleh remaja di negara barat sebagai bahasa sehari-hari. Mereka mempergunakan bahas Slang untuk berkomunikasi satu dengan yang lain. Bahasa Slang sudah mempengaruhi gaya bahasa atau cara berbicara mereka, sehingga dapat menciptakan suatu kelompok kecil di dalam kehidupan sosial mereka. Para remaja lebih tertarik mempelajari dan mempergunakan bahasa Slang dibandingkan dengan muda dan orang tua mereka. Banyak orang tua yang kurang memahami dan kurang mengetahui apa maksud atau makna yang terdapat di dalam bahasa Slang. Bahkan terkadang orang tua mereka membuka kamus Bahasa Slang untuk mengetahui apa maksud dan arti bahasa yang sering dipakai oleh generasinya. Penulisan Skripsi ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan, yaitu dengan mengambil data dari Hello Magazine.

Bahasa Slang atau yang sering disebut juga bahasa gaul atau bahasa prokem merupakan bahasa yang tidak memiliki kaidah struktur bahasa. Bahasa Slang sering dipergunakan oleh remaja di negara barat sebagai bahasa sehari-hari. Mereka mempergunakan bahas Slang untuk berkomunikasi satu dengan yang lain. Bahasa Slang sudah mempengaruhi gaya bahasa atau cara berbicara mereka, sehingga dapat menciptakan suatu kelompok kecil di dalam kehidupan sosial mereka. Para remaja lebih tertarik mempelajari dan mempergunakan bahasa Slang dibandingkan dengan muda dan orang tua mereka. Banyak orang tua yang kurang memahami dan kurang mengetahui apa maksud atau makna yang terdapat di dalam bahasa Slang. Bahkan terkadang orang tua mereka membuka kamus Bahasa Slang untuk mengetahui apa maksud dan arti bahasa yang sering dipakai oleh generasinya. Penulisan Skripsi ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan, yaitu dengan mengambil data dari Hello Magazine.
