Based on the classification above, there are six items included in easy level. These items are items number 1, 6, 9, 10, 13, and 21.
Number 1 belongs to easy level because the conversation in this dialogue may take place in students’ daily life frequently. Beside that, the
other options seem to function poorly. It can be said that they are out of context too far. Moreover, this type of dialogue can be found in many
students’ English textbook.
Number 6 is included as easy item because of some reasons. Firstly, the students got a clue from word ‘invited’ in the text. Next, they are so
familiar with this type of text, especially for the theme ‘birthday’. Finally,
the other options are meaningless and too specific so they are easy to be set aside.
