of the lesson content. They may build up summary on the chalkboard in the process of the lesson to make up a board summary after discussing several lessons with certain people.

2.8.5. 6 Evaluating

The last component of introductory procedure and closure is evaluating. Evaluating is the last activity of the lesson. Here teacher looks for the information and then gathers information in order to judge whether the goal can be accomplished in short time or not. This will be used for further attention. There are several kinds of evaluating among others: 1 to apply new knowledge the students acquired from the planning activities during teaching learning process, 2 evaluating when the teacher has the students demonstrate the skill, such as : telling their own stories or experiences or reading their own poems, and 3 evaluating occurs by giving opportunities to students to express their opinion for example by saying whether the students enjoyed the topic or lesson given or not, giving reason for their statements, asking what questions they feel have been left unanswered after a topic has been considered, especially in which explanation of scientific phenomena have been attempted, or asking how well they had translated events from the short story “Cat in the rain “ into a simulated trial of the main characters, as well as assessing how well each student played hisher assigned part. Additionally, teacher can evaluate the students’ task either in a group or individually. In the group the teacher can evaluate throughout the drama or role play. The students demonstrate and the teacher observe each student how well they participate in the role play or drama or how well the drama played in front of the class or how well they take the part. While for individual works the teachers can have the students evaluate their own work, by giving encouragement and question for fourth development. Based on the statements above it can be said that teachers in the teaching learning process must be able to encourage and to provide the opportunities to their students to demonstrate skills and evaluate their own learning. Having the ability of demonstrating skill and self-evaluation, they are expected to be able to build their self-motivated and self-directed learning so in the future the students will not depend on their teachers too much.
