Analisis Dampak Bonus Demografi Terhadap Ketersediaan Lapangan Kerja di Kota Medan
ABSTRACT
Demographic bonus is a frightening rare opportunity in a period
demographics of a country. Demographic bonus should be optimally utilized to
gain as much as possible in spurring economic growth of a country.
The object of this study is how the results of estimates and projections of
job availability during demographic bonus period. In this study also discusses the
factors that affect the availability of jobs, the number of workers and the
dependency ratio, and discuss how they affect the availability of jobs in the city of
Medan.
This study aimed to analyze the factors that influence jobs growth. In
this study used multiple linear regression analysis. With year study period from
2004-2014, the study also tried to project the availability of jobs in the city of
Medan 2030.
These results indicate there is positive but not significant between the
amount of labor to the availability of jobs in the city of Medan. There is a
negative effect but not significant between the dependency ratio, the availability of
employment in the city of Medan. And the projection results indicate that job
growth is increasing annually by 2030.

ABSTRAK
Bonus demografi adalah sebuah kesempatan yang sangar jarang terjadi
dalam sebuah periode demografi suatu negara.
Bonus demografi harus
dimanfaatkan seoptimal mungkin untuk memperoleh keuntungan yang sebesarbesarnya dalam memacu pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara.
Objek penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah hasil estimasi dan proyeksi
ketersediaan lapangan kerja selama periode bonus demografi. Dalam penelitian
ini juga membahas faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ketersediaan lapangan kerja,
yaitu jumlah tenaga kerja dan dependensi rasio, serta membahas bagaimana
pengaruhnya terhadap ketersediaan lapangan kerja di kota Medan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang
mempengaruhi pertumbuhan lapangan kereja. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan
analisis regresi linear berganda. Dengan periode penelitian dari tahun 2004-2014,
penelitian ini juga mencoba memproyeksi ketersediaan lapangan kerja di kota
Medan hingga tahun 2030.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif namun tidak
signifikan antara jumlah tenaga kerja terhadap ketersediaan lapangan kerja di kota
Medan.
Terdapat pengaruh yang negatif namun tidak signifikan antara
dependensi ratio terhadap ketersediaan lapangan kerja di kota Medan. Dan hasil
proyeksi menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan lapangan kerja meningkat setiap
tahunnya hingga 2030.
