strips, and cartoons to allow words and much less often, pictures to be understood as representing the speech or thoughts of a given character in
the comic. There is often a formal distinction between the balloon that indicates thoughts and the one that indicates words spoken aloud: the

Translating comics belongs to the experience of translators in making sense of their environment where they live and stay. It needs cultural
backgrounds to deal with the translation work. Furthermore, translators have to
make the analysis how the best transfer of sentence level, for example complex sentence which appears in the word balloons. This kind of act is to identify the
clauses which build that complex sentence. The combination between the images and the word balloons is the thing
that translators have to be aware of. They must comprehend all the word balloons to make a good interpretation related to images of a comic. Then, the
target language can be reached easily to bring the readers in understanding and enjoying the translated comic.
