‘Thing’ in the phrase terrorist thing can mean many things.
It can mean ‘terrorist attack’, or ‘terrorist bombing’, or anything that describes what terrorists usually do. Thing in general can also refer to
an idea, an object, an action, an event, etc. Therefore, the type of
meaning of the phrase is conceptual meaning because thing has
several conceptual meaning depending on the context of what is talked about.
