Determinan Perilaku Merokok Anak Sekolah Dasar Di Desa Simatahari Kecamatan Kota Pinang Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan Tahun 2015
ABSTRAK
Perilaku merokok merupakan kegiatan fenomenal, artinya banyak orang yang
mengetahui dampak buruk akibat merokok, tetapi jumlah perokok tidak menurun
bahkan terus meningkat. Perilaku merokok yang dilakukan anak-anak sekolah dasa
tidak terlepas dari adanya proses belajar yang diterima oleh anak-anak tentang
perilaku merokok yang ada disekitarnya
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang memengaruhi perilaku
merokok anak sekolah dasar di Desa Simatahari Kecamatan Kota Pinang Kabupaten
Labuhanbatu Selatan. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian observasional dengan jenis
eksplanatory reaserchdengan teknik pengambilan sampling purposive. Sampel
penelitian ini yaitu anak sekolah dasar yang memiliki perilaku merokok sebanyak 62
orang. Hasil penelitian ini akan dilakukan hingga analisis multivariat dengan
menggunakan uji regresi logistik berganda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak sekolah dasar memiliki perilaku
merokok 1-5 batang per hari dan 29 orang responden (46,8%) memiliki perilaku
merokok > 6 batang per hari, terdapat hubungan antara perilaku merokok ibu
(p=0,000), perilaku merokok teman (p=0,003), ketersediaan rokok (p=0,004), sikap
tentang perilaku merokok (p=0,004). Perilaku merokok ibu (p=0,003 dan exp B
=12,035), perilaku merokok guru (p=0,045 dan exp B =0,159), perilaku merokok
teman (p=0,006 dan exp B =126,645) berpengaruh terhadap perilaku merokok anak
sekolah dasar.
Dari hasil penelitian disarankan kepada pihak sekolah lebih menambah
informasi tentang bahaya perilaku merokok pada usia sekolah dasar. Pihak sekolah
berkomunikasi dengan orangtua khususnya ibu untuk mengurangi perilaku merokok
didepan anak. Pihak sekolah melarang perilaku merokok guru di lingkungan sekolah
dan kepala desa melarang warung untuk menjual rokok kepada siswa sekolah dasar.

Smoking behavior is phenomenal activity, which means that many people
know the bad effects of smoking, but the number of smokers has not declined even
continue to increase. Smoking behavior conducted elementary school children can
not be separated from the process of learning received by children about smoking
behaviors around it.
The study aims to identify factors that influence smoking behavior of primary
school children in the village Simatahari District of Kota Pinang. This type of
research is observational research with this type of explanatory reaserch with
purposive sampling technique. The samples this research that primary school
children who have the smoking behavior of 62 people. Results of this study will be
carried out until the multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression test.
The results showed that primary school children have behavioral smoke 1-5
cigarettes per day, and 29 respondents (46.8%) had smoking behavior> 6 cigarettes
per day, there is a relationship between smoking behavior of mother (p = 0.000),
smoking behavior of friend (p = 0.003), the availability of smoking (p = 0.004),
attitudes about smoking behavior (p = 0.004). Smoking behavior of mother (p =
0.003 and exp B = 12.035), smoking behavior of teachers (p = 0.045 and exp B =
0.159), smoking behavior of friends (p = 0.006 and exp B = 126.645) influence the
smoking behavior of primary school children.
Based on the research results suggested to the school more to add information
about the dangers of smoking behavior of primary school age. The school
communicates with parents especially mothers to reduce smoking behavior in front of
children. The school prohibits smoking behavior of teachers in the school
environment and Simatahari village chief prohibits the buying and selling of
cigarettes to primary school.
