PENGOPTIMALAN JUMLAH PRODUKSI ROTI DENGAN
MENGGUNAKAN METODE BRANCH AND CUT
(Studi Kasus: Toko Roti Hoya)
ABSTRAK
Toko Roti Hoya memproduksi roti atas tiga jenis rasa, yakni rasa srikaya, kelapa
dan stroberi. Masalah mengoptimalkan jumlah produksi akan dimodelkan ke
dalam model matematika berupa program linier. Program linier merupakan suatu
cara yang digunakan dalam pemecahan masalah pengalokasian sumber-sumber
yang terbatas secara optimal. Metode yang akan digunakan adalah metode branch
and cut. Metode branch and cut merupakan suatu metode yang digunakan untuk
menyelesaikan masalah linear programming yang menghasilkan berupa
penyelesaian dalam bentuk bilangan bulat (integer), metode ini merupakan
perpaduan metode branch and bound dengan metode cutting plane. Dalam
penelitian ini penulis menggunakan bantuan Software QM 4.0 untuk
menyelesaikan masalah program linier. Jadi diperoleh keuntungan penjualan
senilai Rp. 9.308.330,- dan jumlah roti yang bisa diproduksi dari bahan-bahan
yang tersedia ialah 10.080 buah roti.

USING THE BRANCH AND CUT METHOD
(Case Study: Bakery Hoya)
ABSTRACT
Bakery Hoya produces bread on three types of flavors, the taste of sugar-apple,
coconut and strawberry. Problems optimize production quantities will be modeled
into a mathematical model of a linier program. Linier programming is a means
used in problem solving allocation of limited resources optimally. The method
used is branch and cut method. Branch and cut method is a method that used to
solve linear programming problems that deliver the solution in integer form, this
method is a mix of branch and bound method with the cutting plane method. In
this study the authors used QM 4.0 Software help to resolve the problem of linear
programming.So obtain sales gains worth Rp. 9.308.330,- and the amount of
bread can be produced from materials that are available are 10.080 loaf.
