Grain Texture On Several Comodities To The numbers Population
Of Sitophylus oryzae L. This research is done in aboratory of Perum Bulog
Kantor Divre SUMUT Medan since January-March 2013. This research uses
Completely Randomed Plan with 8 treatments and 3 tests.
The result of this research show that on treatment P5; P7; P1; P3 are
165,33; 163,33; 150,00; 78,67, on the treatment show it affects the development
of S. oryzae whereas, the soft texture on flour shows the decresing of population
number on treatment P2; P4; P6; P8 are 8,33; 8,33; 10,00; 10,00. The surface
texture on variety of woof is very affect the develop of weevil infest S. oryzae.

Ir. Yuswani Pangestiningsih MS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
pengaruh tekstur butiran pada beberapa komoditas terhadap jumlah populasi hama
Sitophylus oryzae L. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perum Bulog
Kantor Divre SUMUT Medan sejak bulan Januari-Maret 2013. Penelitian ini
menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 8 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada perlakuan P5; P7; P1; P3 sebesar
165,33; 163,33; 150,00; 78,67 ekor, pada perlakuan tersebut sangat
mempengaruhi perkembangbiakan S. oryzae. Sedangkan pada tekstur halus pada
tepung menunjukkan penurunan jumlah populasi pada perlakuan P2; P4; P6; P8
sebesar 8,33; 8,33; 10,00; 10,00. Tekstur permukaan pada tiap jenis pakannya
sangat mempengaruhi perkembangbiakan hama bubuk S. oryzae.
