ABSTRAK
Rini Elisabeth Pardede (130304146) dengan judul skripsi “Analisis FaktorFaktor yang Mempengaruhi Produksi Bawang Merah (Studi Kasus: Desa
Silalahi III, Kecamatan Silahisabungan, Kabupaten Dairi)”. Penelitian ini
dibimbing oleh Ibu Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, MS sebagai ketua komisi pembimbing
dan Ibu Siti Khadijah H. N, S.P, M.Si sebagai anggota komisi pembimbing.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi
produksi bawang merah di Desa Silalahi III, Kecamatan Silahisabungan,
Kabupaten Dairi. Penentuan daerah penelitian secara purposive (sengaja). Metode
penentuan sampel yaitu Simple Random Sampling dengan perhitungan
menggunakan Metode Slovin sebanyak 65 petani. Metode analisis data yang
digunakan adalah Metode Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa variabel bebas luas lahan, bibit, pupuk, pestisida, dan tenaga
kerja secara serempak berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel terikat produksi
bawang merah. Secara parsial variabel luas lahan, bibit, pestisida dan tenaga kerja
berpengaruh positif dan nyata terhadap produksi bawang merah, sedangkan untuk
variabel pupuk berpengaruh negatif dan nyata terhadap produksi bawang merah.

ABSTRACT
Rini Elisabeth Pardede (130304146) with the thesis entitled “The Analysis of the
Factors which Influence Onion Production (A case Study: Silalahi III Village,
Silahisabungan Subdistrict, Dairi Regency)”. This research was supervised by
Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, MS as the Head of the Supervisory Committee and Siti
Khadijah H. N., S.P., M.Si. as the member of the Supervisory Committee. The
objective of the research is to analyze the factors which have influenced the onion
production at Silalahi III Village, Silahisabungan Subdistrict, Dairi Regency. The
research was determined purposively. The samples were taken by using Simple
Random Sampling Technique and employing the calculation of Slovin Method
resulting 65 farmers. The data analysis method used was the Multiple Linear
Regression Analysis Method. The results showed that the independent variables
such as the land area, seeds, fertilizers, pesticide and work force simultaneously
had influence on the dependent variable i.e. the onion production. Partially, the
variables of land area, seeds, pesticide and work force had positive and
significant influence on the onion production, whereas the variable of fertilizer
had negative and significant influence on the onion production.
