Implementasi Augmented Reality Pada Cover Dvd Untuk Menampilkan Trailer Film Melalui Smartphone Berbasis Android

ABSTRAK
Sering kali seorang pembeli DVD Film merasa tidak tahu bagaimana gambaran dari
film yang ingin dibeli, terkhusus pada film keluaran terbaru sebelum melihat trailer
dari film tersebut. Namun, ada kalanya saat ingin membeli sebuah DVD film, pembeli
menemukan sebuah DVD film dengan cover yang menarik, tapi pembeli belum
pernah melihat trailer dari film tersebut sebelumnya sehingga pembeli menjadi ragu,
apakah film tersebut memang sama menariknya seperti yang dapat dilihat pada bagian
covernya. Pegimplementasian Augmented Reality (AR) untuk melihat video trailer
melalui smartphone berbasis Android akan mempermudah pembeli menentukan film
yang bagus. Cover akan diberi feature berupa titik-titik menggunakan Vuforia SDK
yang kemudian akan dibaca oleh Unity 3D, cover yang terdeteksi akan dicocokan
dengan video trailer untuk ditampilkan pada layar smartphone berbasis Android
sehingga pembeli hanya perlu melakukan scanning kepada cover DVD sebagai
marker menggunakan kamera smartphone dan melihat trailer film yang ingin dibeli
pada layar smartphone.

IMPLEMENTATION OF AUGMENTED REALITY ON THE DVD COVER
TO DISPLAY MOVIE TRAILER FROM THE ANDROID BASED
SMARTPHONE
ABSTRACT
Buyers are so often feel don't know how the preview of the movie that they want to
buy, especially for the latest release movie before seeing the trailer of the film.
However, somtimes when buyers want to buy a DVD movie, buyers find a DVD
movie with an attractive cover, but buyers have not seen the trailer of the film before,
so that the buyer be in doubt, Is the movie as interesting as can be seen on the cover or
not. Implementation of Augmented Reality (AR) to see the trailer from the Android
based smartphone would help the buyers to choose a good film to buy. Cover will be
featured with points using Vuforia SDK and then read by Unity 3D, detected cover
will be pair with the video trailer to show on the Android based smartphone. So
buyers only have to do a scanning with the cover as a marker using the smartphone
camera and see the trailer video on the smartphone screen.
