Suminah. Hubungan Disiplin dan Kreativitas Dengan Prestasi Belajar Bahasa
Indonesia Sisw a SMA Swuta Di Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Program
Pascasaljana Universitas Negeri Medan. Juli 2006.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mcmperoleh gambaran mengenai hubungan
disiplin dan kreativitas secara bersama-sama dengan prcstasi belajat bahasa
Indonesia siswa SMA Swasta di Kabupateo Deli Serdang. Penelitian ini dilakukan
di SMA Swasta di Kabupaten Deli Serdang yang mernpunyai Nilai Ujian Akhir
Nasional untuk Bahasa Indonesia untuk tahun ajatan 200412005 di bawah nilal 6,00,
yaitu pada SMA Swasta PAB 6 Helvetia, SMA Swasta Katya Pembangunan, SMA
Swasta PAB I Medan Estate, dan SMA Swasta Era Utama. Populasi penclitian ini
adalah meliputi seluruh siswa kelas m pada keempat sekolah tersebut yang berjumlah
221 orang. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 66 orang siswa. Variabel dalam
penelitian ini adalah disiplin, kreativitas yang dikumpulkan dengan angket dan
prcstasi belajar bahasa Indonesia yang diuJrur deogan tes prestasi basil belajat.
Hasil penelitian ini memperlibatkan babwa, (I) Terdapat hubungan antara
disiplin dan prestasi belajat bahasa Indonesia dengan koefisien korelasi ry.l c 0,445
dengan uji-t diperoleh l!,;..,1 ~ 3,982. Besat sumbangan variabel disiplin terbadap
prestasi belajat bahasa Indonesia sebesar 19,11%. (2) Terdapat hubungan antara
kreativitas dan prestasi belajat bahasa Indonesia dengan koefisien korelasi ry.l =
0,332 dengan uji-t diperoleh thi••n& = 2,984 dan

= 1,98. BeSat sumbangan
variabel kreativitas terhadap prestasi belajar babasa Indonesia sebesar 10,33 %. (3)
Terdapat hubungan antara disipliri dan kreativitas secara bersama-sama dengan
prestasi belajat bahasa Indonesia dengan koefisien korelasi gandn R = 0,543 dengan
Fh;,q = 13,143 dan Flabd = 3, 14. Besat surnbangan kedua variabe1 yaitu disip1in dan
kreativitas secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajat bahasa Indonesia sebeSat
29,44%.

The problem in this research: ( 1) Whether there are positive relation between discipline
learn the student with the achievement learn the student Indonesian in SMA of Private sector
in Regency of Deli Serdang? (2) Whether there arc positive relation between creativity learn
with the achievement learn the student Indonesian in SMA of Private sector in Regency of

Deli Serdang? (3) Whether there are positive relation between discipline and creativity learn
by together with achievement learn Indonesian in SMA of Private sector in Regency of Deli
Serdaog?. Hereinafter this research target is to obtain the picture of concerning relation of
discipline and creativity by together with achievement learn the lodonesian .of student of
SMA of Private sector in Regency of Deli Serdang.
The population is all student of class

m Program The Study of IPA SMA of Private

Sector of Regency of Deli Serdang with the amount 22 I one who is consisted of by 52 SMA.
While which is figured in election sampel only four SMA with the student amount 220
people. Sampel taken by pursuant to proporsional random sampling that is technique of
intake sampel with the balance or proportion, With the formula n • 30 N", henoe its result (is]
30% x 221 • 66,.3 rounded up to become 66 student people. Variable in this research (is]
distipline, creativity collected with the cnqu.ene and achievement learn the Indonesian
measured by test is achievement of result of learning.
Result of this research show that, (I) There are relation of among discipline and
achievement Jearn the Indonesian. Big of contribution of discipline variable t.o achievement
Jearn the Indonesian of equal to 19,11%. (2) There are [relation of among creativity and
achievement learn the lodooesian. Big of contribution of creativity variable to achievement

Jearn the Indonesian of equal to I 0,33 %. (3) There are relation of among discipline and
creativity by together with achievement learn the Indonesian. Big of second contribution of
variable that is discipline and creativity by together to achievement learn the Indonesian of

equal to 29.44%.
