Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Kinerja Aparat Pengawas Internal Pemerintah pada Inspektorat Kota Medan
ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi,
motivasi, latar belakang pendidikan, pengalaman kerja terhadap kinerja aparat
pengawas internal pemerintah (APIP) pada Inspektorat Kota Medan. Jenis
penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kausal. Populasi penelitian ialah APIP pada
Inspektorat Kota Medan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah
sensus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Data penelitian yang
berjumlah 73 dianalisis dengan regresi linear berganda menggunakan program
Statistical Package for Social Sciences. Hasil penelitian membuktikan secara
bersama-sama, kompetensi, motivasi, dan latar belakang pendidikan
berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja APIP. Secara parsial, kompetensi,
motivasi, pengalaman kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja
APIP, sedangkan latar belakang pendidikan berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja
APIP.

ABSTRACT
The objective of the research was to analyze the influence of competence,
motivation, educational background, and work experience on the performance of
APIP (Government Internal Control Personnel) at the Inspectorate Office,
Medan. The research was a causal study. The population was APIP at the
Inspectorate Office of Medan, and 73 of them were used as the samples, using
census sampling technique. The data were gathered by using questionnaires and
analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis with an SPSS (Stratified
Package for Social Sciences) software program. The result of the research
showed that, simultaneously, competence, motivation, and educational
background had significant influence on APIP performance. Partially,
competence, motivation, and work experience had positive and significant
influence on APIP performance, while educational background had negative
influence on APIP performance.
