Merr.) di Pembibitan Utama. Dibimbing oleh Dedeh Saodah Widaningsih
dan Santi Rosniawaty.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan kombinasi kotoran sapi
dengan pupuk majemuk NPKMg (15:15:6:4) yang memberikan pengaruh paling
baik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit aren di pembibitan utama. Percobaan ini
dilakukan di Sanggar Penelitian Latihan dan Pengembangan Pertanian (SPLPP)
Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Padjadjaran, Unit Arjasari, Kecamatan Arjasari,
yang memiliki ketinggian ±750 meter di atas permukaan laut (dpl), dengan ordo
tanah Ultisols dengan tipe iklim berdasarkan curah hujan termasuk C (agak basah)
menurut klasifikasi Schmidt dan Ferguson (1951). Penelitian dilakukan dari bulan
Mei sampai Agustus 2012. Metode percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan
Acak Kelompok yang terdiri dari 11 perlakuan dan diulang tiga kali.
Perlakuannya adalah sebagai berikut: Top soil : Kotoran sapi (1:1), Top soil + 50
g NPKMg (15:15:6:4), Top soil : Kotoran sapi (1:1) + 25 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4),
Top soil : Kotoran sapi (2:1) + 25 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4), Top soil : Kotoran sapi
(3:1) + 25 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4), Top soil : Kotoran sapi (1:1) + 50 g NPKMg
(15:15:6:4), Top soil : Kotoran sapi (2:1) + 50 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4), Top soil :
Kotoran sapi (3:1) + 50 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4), Top soil : Kotoran sapi (1:1) + 75
g NPKMg (15:15:6:4), Top soil : Kotoran sapi (2:1) + 75 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4),
dan Top soil : Kotoran sapi (3:1) + 75 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4). Hasil percobaan
menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi kotoran sapi dengan pupuk majemuk NPKMg
(15:15:6:4) memberikan pengaruh terhadap diameter batang, jumlah daun, luas
daun, bobot kering pupus dan bobot kering tanaman aren pada pembibitan utama.
Perlakuan kotoran sapi (3:1) dengan pupuk majemuk NPKMg (15:15:6:4)
25 gram memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap diameter batang, luas daun,
bobot kering pupus dan bobot kering bibit aren di pembibitan utama.

Combination on Growth of Sugar Palm (Arenga pinnata (Wurmb.) Merr.) on

The objective of this experiment was to get a combination of cow manure
with NPKMg (15:15:6:4) compound fertilizer which gives the best effect on the
growth of palm sugar (Arenga pinnata (Wurmb.) Merr.) on main nursery seedling.
The experiment was conducted in Sanggar Penelitian Latihan dan Pengembangan
Pertanian (SPLPP) Faculty of Agriculture, Padjadjaran University with an altitude
of about ±750 meters above sea level, with the order soil Ultisols. According to
clasification of Schmidt and Ferguson (1951) the type of rainfall is C. The
experiment was conducted from May to August 2012. The experimental methods
used was Randomized Block Design (RBD). The experiment consisted of eleven
treatment with three replications. The treatments were: Top soil: cow manure
(1:1), Top soil+ 50 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4), Top soil: cow manure (1:1) + 25 g
NPKMg (15:15:6: 4), Top soil: cow manure (2:1) + 25 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4),
Top soil: cow manure (3:1) + 25 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4), Top soil: cow manure
(1:1) + 50 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4), Top soil: cow manure (2:1) + 50 g NPKMg
(15:15:6:4), Top soil: cow manure (3:1) + 50 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4), Top soil:
cow manure (1:1) + 75 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4), Top soil: cow manure (2:1 ) + 75 g
NPKMg (15:15:6:4), and Top soil: cow manure (3:1) + 75 g NPKMg (15:15:6:4).
The results showed that the cow manure with NPKMg (15:15:6:4) compound
fertilizer combination had the good effect on the diameter, number of leaves, leaf
area, shoot dry weight and plants sugar palm dry weight on the main nursery.
Treatment of cow manure (3:1) and NPKMg (15:15:6:4) compound fertilizer 25
grams gave good effect to diameter, leaf area, shoot dry weight and plants sugar
palm dry weight on the main nursery.
