ABSTRAK
PENGARUH MOTIVASI DAN KEDISIPLINAN BERORGANISASI TERHADAP
KOMITMEN ANGGOTA DAN KINERJA RESIMEN MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS
SUMATERA UTARA
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan
motivasi dan kedisiplinan berorganisasi terhadap komitmen anggota dan kinerja Resimen
Mahasiswa Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara yang kepada 52 orang
anggota Resimen Mahasiswa Universitas Sumatera Utara dengan teknik pengambilan sampel
jenuh. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis jalur, dengan motivasi berorganisasi dan
kedisiplinan berorganisasi sebagai variabel bebas, komitmen anggota sebagai variabel penyelia
dan kinerja Resimen Mahasiswa sebagai variabel terikat
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berorganisasi berpengaruh positif dan
signifikan terhadap komitmen anggota, kedisiplinan berorganisasi berpengaruh positif dan tidak
signifikan terhadap komitmen anggota, motivasi berorganisasi berpengaruh positif dan tidak
signifikan terhadap kinerja Resimen Mahasiswa, kedisiplinan berorganisasi berpengaruh positif
dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Resimen Mahasiswa, komitmen anggota berpengaruh positif dan
tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja Resimen Mahasiswa, motivasi berorganisasi dan kedisiplinan
berorganisasi berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan melalui komitmen anggota terhadap
kinerja Resimen Mahasiswa.

THE INFLUENCE OF ORGANIZATIONAL MOTIVATION AND DISCIPLINE TOWARDS THE
MEMBERS COMMITMENTS AND PERFORMANCE OF RESIMEN MAHASISWA

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of the organizational motivation
and organizational discipline to the commitment of the members and performance of Resimen
Mahasiswa Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Primary data was collected through questionnaires and interviews to 52 members of
Resimen Mahasiswa Universitas Sumatera Utara with non-probability sampling technique. The
test of hypotheses used path analysis, with organizational motivation and discipline as an
independent variable, commitment of members as the intervaning variables and Resimen
Mahasiswa performance as the dependent variable,
The results showed that organizational motivation has positive and significant effect to
the commitment of the members, organizational discipline has positive and non significant effect
to the commitment of the members, organizational motivation has positive and non sinificant
effect to the performance of Resimen Mahasiswa, organizational discipline has positive and
significant effect to the performance of Resimen Mahasiswa, member’s commitment has positive
and non significant effect to the performance of Resimen Mahasiswa, organizational motivation
and organizational discipline through the commitment of the members has positive and non
significant effect to Resimen Mahasiswa performance.

kinerja Resimen Mahasiswa.
