Hubungan Kepatuhan Terhadap Kebijakan Kesetan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Dengan Kecelakaan Kerja Pemanen Sawit di Kebun Perlabian PT. Tolan Tiga (SIPEF) Tahun 2016
ABSTRAK
Kemajuan teknologi memaksa manusia harus bekerja dengan mesin yang
memiliki banyak bahaya terhadap manusia itu sendiri. Salah satu cara mengatasi
kecelakaan kerja adalah dengan menerapkan Kebijakan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan
Kerja di perusahaan, tetapi sebaik apapun kebijakan yang telah dibuat oleh perusahaan
jika tidak dipatuhi oleh pekerja maka tujuan menurunkan angka kecelakaan kerja tidak
akan berhasil.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kepatuhan pada kebijakan
keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja dengan kecelakaan kerja pemanen sawit di kebun
Perlabian PT. Tolan Tiga (Sipef) tahun 2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik dengan
populasi penelitian sebanyak 150 pekerja dan sampel sebanyak 60 pekerja. Sampel
dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Data yang diolah
bersumber dari kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada pekerja.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanen sawit yang patuh terhadap
kebijakan K3 sebesar 65,0% dan pemanen sawit yang mengalami kecelakaan kerja
hanya sebesar 38,30%. hasil uji Chi Square terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara
kepatuhan pada kebijakan K3 dengan kecelakaan kerja (p = 0,0001).
Supervisor atau mandor dapat menghimbau kepada pemanen sawit yang tidak
mau menggunakan APD khususnya helm dan kacamata agar mau menggunakan helm
dan kacamata. Ketidaknyamanan pemanen dalam menggunakan helm dan kaca mata
dapat diantisipasi dengan menggunakan helm yang sesuai dengan ukuran kepala
kemudian membiasakan diri selalu menggunakan helm saat memanen dan kaca mata
yang mengembun diatasi dengan memberikan kain untuk mengelap kaca mata yang
mengembun tersebut. Kepatuhan terhadap kebijakan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja di
PT. Tolan Tiga (SIPEF) perlu dipertahankan dan ditingkatkan lagi agar semakin baik ke
depannya.

ABSTRACT
The rapid industrial development has impact to increasing of work accident that
caused by the technology development that requires human being work with mechines
with hinger risk for human being. One of efforts to minimize the work accident is by the
implementation of work health and safety policy in the company but althought the policy
had made by company, if it did not applied by worker, the objective to minimize the
work accident is not achieved.
This research aims to study a relationship between the compliance to the work
health and safety policy and work accident for the palm harvester in plantation of Tolan
Tiga (SIPEF) in 2016. This research is analytic study with the population is 150
workers and sample for 60 workers. The sample was took by simple random samlping
method. The processed data was obtained from questionnaire that distributed to the
worker.
The result of research indicates that more of respondent have a good compliance
(65,0%) and respondent with the work accident is 38,3,%, the result of chi square test
indicates that there is a significant correlation between compliance to the work health
and safety policy and the work accident (p = 0,0001)
Supervisor or foreman can be appealed to the palm harvesters who do not use
personal protection tools, especially a helmet and goggles to help by using a helmet and
goggles. Discomfort harvester in the use of helmets and goggles can be anticipated by
using a helmet that matches the size of the head, and get used to always wear a helmet
when harvesting, then the glass eye that condenses can be overcome by giving the
company a cloth to wipe the glass eye that condenses. Compliance to work health and
safety policy in Tolan Tiga (SIPEF) should be maintained and improved in order the
better future.
