“You can be hate something, Though it is very good for you. And you can like something, though
it’s very bad for you. Allah knows, while you don’t know.” ( Al-Baqarah:216)
I think this paragraph have a relation to point one and two, “He will have to learn, I know, that
all men are not just, all men are not true. But teach him also that for every scoundrel there is a
hero: that far every selfish politician, there is a dedicated leader…Teach him that for every
enemy there is a friend. It will take time, I know a long time, but teach, if you can, that a dollar
earned is of more value then five of found.” both of them ask human to always have a positive
thinking. Because we can’t judge someone or something from one viewpoint, it can make us
judge someone or something as a bad thing. For example : One of my classmates make mistake
by stealing your stuff. It’s not true that i judge all of them have the same attitude. I have to think
that it just happen by one person.

And put your trust to (Allah) the almighty, the merciful ( Asy-Syuara:217)
I think this paragraph have a relation to the third point, “Teach him, to learn to lose…And also to
enjoy winning. Steer him away from envy, if you can, teach in the secret of quiet laughter.”
Because of the human life is very unpredictable. We must sincere and trust about everything that
Allah give to us. Because Allah will give what we need not what we want. For example : I’ll try
my best to become a student in a university, but i was failed. It’s the way what Allah want to me.
And i must receive it and doing tawakkal.

And Allah who is give life and die, and he take the control of day and night, so whether you
don’t thinking about that ? (Al Mu’minun: 80)
I think this paragraph have a relation to the fourth point, “Teach him, if you can the wonder of
books…But also given quiet time wonder the eternal mystery of birds in the sky, bees in the sun,
and flowers on the green hillside.” This paragraph order us to think about everyhing, to know
about everything. Because Allah loves the person who have many knowledge. For example : i’m
study in college to know something new and make me have new knowledge.

Don’t try to cheating, because the book of cheater is in the sijjin(jail) ( Al Muthofifin:7)
I think this paragraph have a relation to the fifth point, “In a school teach him, it is far more
honorable to fail than to cheat…”Both of them explain how bad cheating is. Because everybody
know that cheating is not a good attitude. People hate it, and also Allah more hate it. For example
: Student who usually cheating in his task or exam will have big problem in the end, he can’t get
anything from his study. And student who do his task and exam by himself, although he is fail,
he will get many experiences form his fail.
The most effective jihad is fighting for justice in front of a despotic ruler (HR. Abu daud &
Tarmidzi)
I think this hadith have a relation to the sixth and seventh point, “Teach him to have faith in his
own idea, even if anyone else tell him they are wrong…Teach him to be gentle with gentle
people and tough with tough.” Because both of them explain about courage. And Allah like
people who brave to tell the truth. For example: I believe that student who usually active and try
to give his opinion or idea is will have feedback in year after he done his study.

O people who believe in Allah! If someone come to you with news, then save it (until you know
the truth) so it not caused people to be in ignorance (destruction) that you’re sorry for what you
did ( Al Hujarat:6)
I think this paragraph have a relation to the eighth point, “Teach him to listen to all men…But
teach him also to filter all he hears on a screen of truth, and take only the good one that comes
through.” Both of them explain about attitude called tabbayun. It’s like when you hear any news
and you don’t directly believe about that news but you check it first. For example : My friends
tell me that A is stealing B pencil, so i must confirm to B first before judge A.
