Pengaruh Asal Stek dan Zat Pengatur Tumbuh Atonik Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Beberapa Varietas Ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatas L.) Lamb

 

ABSTRACT
CUT TIA MARDI, 2016. The effect of the cutting sources and the Atonik
plant growth regulator on the growth and yield of several sweet potatoes
(Ipomoea batatas L.) Lamb. varieties, supervised by Hot Setiado and
Khairunnisa Lubis.
The aim of the research was to know the effect of the cutting sources and
Atonik plant growth regulator on the growth and yield of several sweet potatoes
varieties. The research was conducted on the public farming, Amplas Village,
Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia with 25 metres altitude, from September 2015
to January 2016. The randomized block design was used with three factors, i.e :
variety (Antin-1, Kidal), the cutting source (shoot cutting and base cutting), the
Atonik plant growth regulator (0,25 ml and 0,50 ml). The variable observed were:
the extention of the plant length, the weight of the tuber per sample, the number of
tuber per sample, the length of tuber per sample, the diameter of tuber per
sample, the weight of tuber per plot and the organoleptic test.
The results showed that the variety was significantly affected the extention
the plant length, the weight of tuber per sample, the number of tuber per sample,
the length of tuber per sample,the diameter of tuber per sample, the weight of
tuber per plot. The cutting sources was significantly affected. The interaction

among varieties, the cutting sources, and the Atonik plant growth regulator was
not significantly affected..

CUT TIA MARDI, 2016. Pengaruh Asal Stek dan Zat Pengatur Tumbuh
Atonik Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Beberapa Varietas Ubi Jalar
(Ipomoea batatas L.) Lamb. dibimbing oleh Hot Setiado dan
Khairunnisa Lubis.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh asal stek dan zat
pengatur tumbuh Atonik terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi beberapa varietas
ubi jalar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan masyarakat bajak V, kelurahan
Harjosari II kecamatan Medan Amplas, Sumatera Utara, Medan, Indonesia

dengan ketinggian tempat +25 m diatas permukaan laut, yang dilaksanakan pada
bulan September 2015 sampai dengan Januari 2016 menggunakan Rancangan
Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan menggunakan tiga faktor perlakuan yaitu :
varietas (Antin-1 dan Kidal), bahan asal stek (stek pucuk dan stek pangkal) dan
zat pengatur tumbuh Atonik (0,25 ml dan 0,50 ml). Peubah amatan yang diamati
adalah pertambahan panjang tanaman, jumlah umbi per sampel, panjang umbi per
sampel, diameter umbi per sampel, bobot umbi per sampel, bobot umbi per plot
dan uji organoleptik.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas berpengaruh nyata terhadap
pertambahan panjang tanaman, jumlah umbi per sampel, panjang umbi per
sampel, diameter umbi per sampel, bobot umbi per sampel, bobot umbi per plot.
Stek berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertambahan panjang tanaman, Interaksi antara
varietas, stek, dan Zat pengatur tumbuh Atonik tidak berpengaruh nyata.
