front is the best one where they could pay attention to the lecturer and interact with the lecturer well. It is different if they choose the back row where there are many
distractions. In group work, the students could also grow their own care and willingness to the other friends. The boys are able to help to move the chairs or tables
when they have to do group work activity and group performance in front of the class. The students could help each other because there are some students who are not
really comfortable with traditional seating arrangement when they have to do group work activities.
4. For Future researcher
Based on the research results, most of the students’ and lecturers’ have positive perception on traditional seating arrangement. Nevertheless, there are some students
who perceive traditional seating arrangement in a negative way. Therefore, the researcher hopes that there will be another researcher who is willing to conduct
research related to the traditional seating arrangement or to design any assessment to maximize the best use of traditional seating arrangement in teaching and learning
process so that the students are comfortable in the class. 80
