F. Data Analysis Procedures
Having finished gathering data from the participants, the researcher presented the result of the questionnaire. The researcher analyzed them by putting the data in
the table and discussed them based on the two categories. Those categories were based on the two research questions that the researcher had. Afterwards, as the data
from questionnaires were all collected and processed, the researcher came to the second type of data, namely the interview results. Instead of using a tape recorder, the
researcher also recorded the data in a table and finally triangulated them with the other data from the questionnaire results from both the close-ended and open-ended
questionnaire. The researcher will present the data gathering and data analysis in chapter IV.

CHAPTER IV ANALYSIS RESULTS
This chapter is a part where data are presented and analyzed based on justified methodology. From the data presentation, the researcher obtained the findings and
discussed as well as addressed them explicitly to answer research problems. In addition, making links between findings and the aims of the research was essentially
mentioned.
A. The Students’ Perceptions on Traditional Seating Arrangement in Public Speaking I Class
.
To find out the students’ perceptions on the traditional seating arrangement while the lecturer was giving a lecture in Public Speaking I class, the researcher
distributed the questionnaire, in the form of close-ended and open ended-questions. The total questionnaire sheets which could be analyzed were 63 sheets. The
researcher only analyzed 63 sheets because not all of the students were present in those three classes.
1. The Description of Students’ Perceptions While the Lecturer was Giving a Lecture Based on the Questionnaires Distributed.
a. Close-ended questions
In close-ended questions, the researcher had six statements which were supposed to show what the students’ perceptions were. The table below shows the
distribution of those six statements and the results:
