58 listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The materials consisted of nine units. The time allocation for each unit was 2 x 45 minutes 90 minutes.

5. Evaluation

The materials and Questionnaires were distributed to the participants, whose reviews were needed to improve the designed materials. There were two groups of participants: two English lecturers of Sanata Dharma University and two English teachers of the tenth grade of SMA BOPKRI I Yogyakarta. Their participation was significant; in order to give feedback and evaluation of the materials. Here, evaluation consisted of three parts. They were the Description of Participants, Data Presentation, and the Participants’ Comments and Suggestions on the Materials Design.

a. The Description of Participants

The English teachers of the tenth grade of SMA BOPKRI I Yogyakarta and the English lecturers of Sanata Dharma University were involved as the participants of product evaluation survey. They gave feedback, evaluations, and some comments about the designed materials. They were also considered as inputs to revise the materials so the final design could be presented.

b. Data Presentation

The questionnaires were distributed to the participants to obtain the evaluation on the designed material. The purpose was to gain feedbacks about the designed materials, which were appropriate for the tenth grade students of Senior 59 High School. The likert scale was used to show the participants’ opinions on the designed materials. The degrees of agreement from the participants were expressed in number. The number ranged from 1 to 5. There were five degrees of agreement. The five degrees of agreement are as follows. 1 : strongly disagree with the statement 2 : disagree with the statement 3 : undecided with the statement 4 : agree with the statement 5 : strongly agree with the statement Next, the evaluation data were presented in the following table: Table 4.5.
