3. Main Product Revision

The third step is Main Product Revision. The Development phase of ADDIE model was conducted here. This was carried out to improve and to revise the initial iconic learning model based on the feedback obtained from the expert validation. The results of the expert validation had implied that the initial iconic learning model had been adequate enough. In conclusion, there would be no changes made in relation to the widgets, and the exercises in the initial iconic model. However, there were some points needed to be revised based on the feedback from expert validation. In general, there were three suggestions related to interface, instructions, and warming up activities in the initial iconic learning model. Therefore, there were also three changes made in order to revise the initial iconic learning model before it was tested to the targeted users. The first suggestion from the respondents of expert validation was to add more images within the page so that the interface will look more interesting. In response to the suggestion, more images were added to page. Therefore, the first change in the initial iconic learning model was the addition of images within the page of the initial iconic learning model. The screen shot of the first revision could be seen in figure 4.12 below. Figure 4.12: Revision on Interface The second suggestion from the respondents of expert validation was to give more detailed and specific instructions in every section of the unit and the exercises of the initial iconic learning model. In the initial iconic learning model, instructions were only given in the general overview section. In response to the suggestion, instructions were then added in every section of the unit and exercises so that the students would know what they were supposed to do without relying too much on the teacher to give the instructions. Therefore, the first change in the initial iconic learning model was the addition of detailed and specific instructions in every section of the unit as well as the exercises.
