The Lexicogrammatical features usually found in a hortatory exposition text are;
a. Focus on generic human and non-human participants, except for speakers
or writers referring to self. b.
Use of:
Mental processes, in order to state what the writer thinks or feels about an issue, for example: realize, feel, and appreciate.
Material processes, in order to state what happens, for example:
pollute, drive, travel, spend, should be treated.
Relational processes, in order to state what is or should be, for example: doe
sn‟t seem to, have been, is.
