Untuk mempercepat dan meningkatkan perolehan tanaman varian hasil mutasi induksi, penggunaan zat pengatur tumbuh BAP dapat ditingkatkan menjadi 6.75 mg L -1 dengan IAA 0.175 mg L -1 dan TDZ 0.22 mg L -1 , dengan subkultur setiap 4-6 minggu selama periode 6-8 bulan untuk memperkecil perolehan kimera. 6. Varian tanaman pisang yang diidentifikasikan sebagai varian positif ini, berpotensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk mendapatkan tanaman dengan karakter unggul lainnya, dan digunakan sebagai plasma nutfah untuk pengembangan dan perbanyakan tanaman pisang cv. Ampyang secara klonal melalui teknik in vitro. 7. Bibit pisang cv. Ampyang yang terindikasi tahan terhadap layu Fusarium berpotensi digunakan sebagai populasi untuk di evaluasi sifat ketahanannya di lahan endemik layu Fusarium untuk memastikan kestabilan sifat ketahanannya dan mengidentifikasi varian tahan layu Fusarium dengan kuantitas dan kualitas unggul tertentu lainnya yang diinginkan.
