2 Obligation to provide sufficient fund in Rupiah currency
during Effective Grace Period.
Effective Period must be in grace period of 70 seventy
days counting from Date of Withdrawal.
3 Shall inform and request to Drawee Bank to block the
payment related to the lost, stolen or broken Bilyet
GiroCheque.
B. Customer’s Obligation as Receiver
1 Ensuring that Bilyet GiroCheque received from Drawer
has fulfilled mandatory requirements which consist of
name and “Bilyet GiroCheque number, , name of
Drawee Bank, clear and unconditional instruction to
transfer the fund as stated in the bilyet girocheque at
the expenses of Drawer’s Account, name account
number of Receiver, amount of transfer, date of
withdrawal, effective date, clear name of drawer and
signature. 2
Reject the Bilyet GiroCheque that has not fulfilled the requirement.
3 Request Drawer to Block the Bilyet Giro Cheque if the
Bilyet GiroCheque received is lost, stolen or broken.
C. Guidance of Bilyet GiroCheque Correction
1 Correction of typo error in Bilyet GiroCheque must be
conducted if there is typo error in receiver’s name;
receiver’s account number; amount to be transferred in
number and letter; date of withdrawal; effective date;
andor clear name of Drawer.
2 Correction as mention above is considered as 1 one
time correction.
3 If there is re‐correction after previous correction, it will
be considered as additional number of correction.
4 The procedure in making correction is by crossing out
the previous correction and re‐write the new
correction. 5
Each correction must be signed by Drawer in nearest empty
space of the corrective writing. Correction
on the Bilyet Giro cheque can be conducted at the
most 3 three times. D.
Guidance on Cancellation and Blocking of Bilyet GiroCheque
Payment
1 Drawer shall not cancel the Bilyet GiroCheque during
the Grace Period.
2 Drawer can block the payment of Bilyet Giro Cheque
with below reasons:
a. Lost or stolen; andor
b. Cannot be used because it is broken.
Blocking as mention on point 2 a must be completed
with declaration letter from Police Station while for
point 2 b must be completed with the broken Bilyet
2 Wajib menyediakan dana yang cukup dalam mata uang
Rupiah selama Tenggang Waktu Efektif.
Tenggang Waktu Efektif harus berada dalam tenggang
waktu 70 tujuh puluh hari terhitung sejak Tanggal
Penarikan. 3
Harus menginformasikan dan meminta kepada Bank Tertarik
untuk melakukan pemblokiran pembayaran mengenai
Bilyet Giro yang hilang, dicuri, atau rusak.
