Most of tokens, types and word families are still found in GSL_1. They are 2,099 83.99 tokens, 428 70.05 types and 333 word families. It gives
benefit for students because they can learn and understand the content easily. Furthermore, word list in GSL_2 also helps students enrich their vocabulary
acquisition. They are 191 7.64 tokens, 82 13.42 types and 75 word families, even though GSL_2 only provides small portion of word list.
Vocabulary proficiency not only found in GSL_1 and GSL_2, the students also get vocabulary proficiency in AWL and word list „not in the list‟. The number of
tokens is 209 8.36 with 101 16.53 types and 21 word families. Seeing the total number of text coverage from GSL_1 and GSL_2
91.63, it is not difficult for students and teacher to achieve the level of 95 text coverage. To reach the level, some efforts should be done not only by
students but also supported by teacher. The tokens in AWL and word list „not in the list‟ should be taught in pre teaching activity. Thus, the students‟ text coverage
will increase. This chapter is still the same with the previous chapters. The gap level to achieve 95 percentage of level vocabulary proficiency is consistent. As
long as teacher and students have enough effort to learn vocabulary outside most
2,000 frequent English words, students can achieve 95 level of vocabulary coverage.
5. Vocabulary Coverage of Chapter IV The data in table 4.5 are the results from chapter I after running RANGE
of the textbook corpus. The detail vocabulary coverage of chapter IV is presented in table 4.5 below.

Still in line with the previous chapters, most of the tokens, types and word families are found in GSL_1. The result shows consistency with the findings
in the data analysis of the whole textbook corpus. It can be concluded that this chapter is accessible for students because most of the words are common for
students. This is in line with Schmitt 2006 says that the first 2,000 English words is considered as the level for the basic initial goal of second language
learners. The data analysis result shows that the tokens in GSL_1 and GSL_2 are
91.24 with 80.25 types and 384 word families. This chapter also allows students to learn more vocabularies outside the 2,000 most frequent English
words. It provides 8.75 tokens, 19.75 types and 26 word families found in
AWL and word list „not in the list‟. Those words will enrich students‟ vocabulary, enlarge students‟ vocabulary size and help students to recognize other words.
With the percentage of 91.24 tokens found in GSL_1 and GSL_2, it is not demanding for students to achieve the appropriate level of 95. However, it is
assumed that students have recognized all tokens in GSL_1 and GSL_2. To improve their level of vocabulary coverage, students can learn word list from
small number of AWL and „not in the list‟. 6. Vocabulary Coverage of Chapter V
The data in table 4.6 are the results from chapter I after running RANGE of the textbook corpus. The detail vocabulary coverage of chapter V is presented
in table 4.6 below. Table 4.6 Vocabulary Coverage of Chapter V
