Pressure is giving an order by way of scaring or using physical violence. Usually, this function give bad effect for the listener because the listener will take action with forced. Pressure included in the function of persuasive sentence because it can influence others to do something. In this research, there is no persuasive speech that has function to pressure used by Barack Obama in his campaign speeches. Barack Obama is more likely to use the sentences that makes the listener believe and trust that he has the ability to make America to be a great country without force Americans to choose him.
