After the data were calculated and evaluated, it was found that the results were
satisfying. Based on the experts‟ opinions on the designed materials, it was found out that the average point of the central tendency is 4,3 from the scale 5,0.
It shows that the designed materials are very good and it is acceptable for the tenth grade students of technology divisions at vocational high school. Although,
the designed materials are very good and there is no need to improve the designed, but the researcher still wants to improve the existing part of the
designed model based on the experts‟ comments and suggestions.
2 The Respondents’ Comments and Suggestions on the Learning Material
Model
This part discusses the respondents‟ comments and suggestions on the learning material model by providing them three open-ended questions. The
purpose of those questions is to give freedom to the respondents to state their mind about the learning material model. From the open-ended questions, the
respondents stated that the designed model was well designed, creative, interesting, varied activities, and the materials could improve the students‟ skill,
knowledge, and attitude. All the participants stated that the designed model was acceptable for the tenth grade students of technology divisions at vocational high
school. Besides, the vocabulary and activities in the designed model could support the students‟ realm by providing the materials which had connection with
technology. However, there was a need to conduct more exploration on the existing part of the design based on the respondents‟ comments and suggestions

First of all, all participants agreed that the information on the use of modals was too much and the researcher should choose the information that
would be important and appropriate for the tenth grade students of technology divisions at vocational high school. The second, the picture on chapter four did
not match the title. One of the respondents explained that the picture should clear because it became the representative of the materials. If the picture did not match
the title, it could make the readers confused. Besides, one of the respondents suggested that the researcher should attach the sources of the pictures if the
researcher took the pictures from the internet to avoid plagiarism. The third, some instructions were confusing and could cause ambiguity, so the students would
confuse, even they would not understand the instructions. To overcome that problem, the resarcher should provide the clearer instruction in each activity or

The learning material model should contain the materials which had the good moral value, so there was no opportunity for students to learn something bad from
the designed material. Those all comments and suggestions were very useful for the improvement of the learning material model.
In conclusion, based on the results of experts‟ validation, A Competence- Based English Learning Material Model for the Tenth Grade Students of
Technology Divisions at Vocational High School was considered as a good model, so it was acceptable to be implemented. The good things from the
designed model were easy to follow, steps were simple, and the topics and materials were appropriate for the tenth grade students of technology divisions at
vocational high school. Besides, A Competence-Based English Learning Model was applicable to be practiced. However, the designed model could be improved
by giving the clearer instructions, providing the suitable pictures and giving the more focus information for students. Therefore, A Competence-Based English
Learning Material Model would be more interesting and helpful for students to be practiced.
3. Main Product Revision
