ABSTRAK
Academic self management merupakan suatu strategi yang dimiliki pelajar
untuk mengatur faktor yang dapat mendukung ataupun menghambat proses belajar.
Academic self management dapat mendukung proses belajar mengajar melalui elearning. E-learning merupakan penggunaan jaringan teknologi informasi dan
komunikasi yang disengaja dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Tujuan dari
penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan academic self management dengan pola elearning pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi USU. Penelitian ini menggunakan
metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Metode pengambilan sampel
yang digunakan adalah proportional stratified random sampling dengan subjek 243
orang. Nilai reliabilitas skala academic self management 0.858 dan skala e-learning
0.829. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan positif antara
academic self management dengan pola pembelajaran e-learning individual self
paced e-learning online. (2) Terdapat hubungan negatif antara academic self
management dengan pola pembelajaran e-learning individual self paced e-learning
offline. (3) Terdapat hubungan positif antara academic self management dengan pola
pembelajaran e-learning group based asynchronously. (4) Terdapat hubungan positif
antara academic self management dengan pola pembelajaran e-learning group based

synchronously

ABSTRACT

Academic self management is a strategy owned by the learner to set factors
that can support or inhibit the learning process. Academic self management can
support studying process through e-learning. E-learning is commonly referred to the
intentional use of networked information and communication technology in teaching
and learning. The purpose of this research was to determine correlation between
academic self management with types of e-learning. This research was conducted

using quantitative methods with correlational research, Sampling technique was
proportional stratified random sampling. Subjects in this research was 243 students
from Faculty of Psychology in University of Sumatera Utara. The reliability value of
academic self management scale is 0.858 and types of e-learning scale is 0.829. The
result of this research are (1) a positive correlation between academic self
management with individual self paced e-learning online. (2) a negative correlation
between academic self management with individual self paced e-learning offline. (3)
a positive correlation between academic self management with e-learning group
based asynchronously. (4) a positive correlation between academic self management
with e-learning group based synchronously
