ABSTRAK
Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di Kandang Kelinci Laboratorium
Ternak Potong Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Padjadjaran pada tanggal
14 November 2012 sampai 14 Desember 2012. Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan buah belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa
bilimbi L) dalam ransum terhadap kecernaan energi dan protein pada
marmot lepas sapih. Penelitian ini menggunakan 20 ekor marmot lepas
sapih yang berumur 4 minggu dengan rata – rata bobot badan 198,55 gram
dan koefisien variasi 8,66%. Rancangan percobaan adalah Rancangan Acak
Lengkap dengan lima tingkat pemberian buah belimbing wuluh
(0%, 0,5%, 1%, 1,5%, 2%), setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak empat kali.
Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penambahan buah belimbing wuluh
sampai tingkat 2% dalam ransum tidak berpengaruh terhadap kecernaan
energi dan protein pada marmot lepas sapih.

ABSTRACT
This research was conducted in rabbit ranch livestock laboratory of
Faculty of Animal Husbandry, University of Padjadjaran from November
14th to Desember 14th in 2012. The aim of this study was to know the
effect of adding Wuluh starfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L) to ransom to feed
comsumption, body weigh gain, and feed efficiency of weaning phase
guinea pig. This research used 20 weaning phase guinea pigs, aged 4 weeks
with body weight average 198.55 gram and variation coefficient 8,66%.
The method which was used in this research was Complete Randomize
Design with five adding dosages of Wuluh starfruit (0%,0.5%, 1%, 1.5%,
2%), with four replication. The result of this research showed that adding
Wuluh starfruit at 2% dosage statistically gave not significant effect for
energy and protein’s digestibility.
