Tingkat Pengetahuan Ibu terhadap Faktor Risiko Dermatitis Popok pada Bayi Berusia 0-24 Bulan di RSUP Haji Adam Malik Medan

ABSTRAK

Dermatitis popok adalah kelainan kulit yang sering dijumpai pada bayi
berusia 0-24 bulan, dengan prevalensi cukup tinggi, yaitu 7-35 %.Dermatitis
popok merupakan kelainan kulit dengan penyebab multifaktor, pengetahuan ibu
termasuk ke dalam beberapa faktor yang dicurigai berperan dalam kejadian
dermatitis popok pada bayi berusia 0-24 bulan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan ibu
terhadap faktor risiko dermatitis popok pada bayi berusia 0-24 bulan dengan
melakukan wawancara dan alat ukur berupa kuesioner.Desain penelitian ini
adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode potong lintang.
Pada penelitian ini dari 91 responden, sebanyak 45 orang (49,5%)
berpengetahuan cukup, 42 orang (46,2%) berpengetahuan baik, dan 4 orang
(4,4%) berpengetahuan sangat baik. Sebagian besar responden berpendidikan
perguruan tinggi (50,5%) dengan profesi terbanyak sebagai ibu rumah tangga
(50,5%)
Penelitian ini berkesimpulan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan ibu terhadap
faktor risiko dermatitis popok pada bayi berusia 0-24 bulan di RSUP.Haji Adam
Malik adalah cukup, dengan harapan dapat dilakukan berbagai edukasi untuk
meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu terhadap faktor risiko dermatitis popok pada bayi
berusia 0-24 bulan.

ABSTRACT

Diaper dermatitis is skin disorder that often we found in infant age 0-24
months with high prevalence, 7-35%. Diaper dermatitis is a disease with
multifactor causes. Maternal knowledge is one of many factors suspected as cause
of diaper dermatitis in infant age 0-24 months.
This study aimed to investigates the level of maternal knowledge about the
risk factors of diaper dermatitis in infant age 0-24 month in RSUP Haji Adam
Malik Medan by interviewing the respondents and using questionnaire as the
measure tools. Design of this study is descriptive with cross sectional method.
In this study was found from 91 respondents, the level of maternal
knowledge are enough (49.5%), good (46.2%), and very good (4.4%). Most of
respondent are graduated from college (50.5%) with the most profession as house
of wife (50.5%)
The conclusion of this study is the level of maternal knowledge about the

risk factor of diaper dermatitis in infant age 0-24 month in RSUP Haji Adam
Malik Medan is enough and the researcher has a hope there would be an
education to increase the maternal knowledge.
