concerning conflicts with the artisanal sector, the oil and gas industry, as well as fish marketing and processing enterprises mainly small scale domestically oriented supply chains, and the
tourism sector.
Finally, the ICFG has worked in close collaboration with the development and initial planning of several other donor programs that will be focusing in the Western Region. These include a 50
million dollar investment from the World Bank into the fisheries sector for 2011 through the Ministry of Food and Agriculture and the Fisheries Commission. Collaborative programs have
also been developed with evolving USAID investments in the Western Region, notably the Behavior Change Project led by Johns Hopkins University and the Local Governance and
Decentralization Project led by Management Systems International.
