4.1.2 Reduplication

Reduplication is a special kind of morphological process forming new words either by copying an entire free morpheme full reduplication or part of it partial reduplication. 4.1.3 Modification

Modification is one of the morphological processes in forming word as an alternative form. There are two kinds of modification, zero modification and internal modification. After reading carefully the selected chapters from the source of data, the writer finds out the internal modification used in the novel. Internal modification is changing of a certain base form of morpheme in order to form a new word and different meaning. 4.1.4 Suppletion

Suppletion is one of morphological process which discusses irregularity words. It is not obvious the connection between the base form and the newly created form past form of a word or morpheme. As usual, the form of past verb is formed by adding –ed cried, studied, jumped, etc.. However, in this case there is no such pattern like usual, that’s why it is called “irregularity”.
