PENGARUH MOTIVASI DAN DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI MUSEUM GEOLOGI BANDUNG

ABSTRACT
The motivation has a role to play very important to increase the employee performance.
Motivation encruage someone carrying out an activities in order to obation thr best result.
Motivation work given agencies in efforts to improve the employee performace to salary, the
study, the work, are security in working, and the relationship between the subordinate good able
to motivate amployee well to increase their performance.
The purpose of this study is ti find the influence of motivation and discipline work of the
performance of employes in Museum Geology Bandung.
This research use descriptive method and verifikatif where the population taken from the
staff og Geological Museum Bandung. Sample taken as many as 38. Data analysis through test
of validity and reability. Data processing done with linear regression analysis worship of idols, a
correlation coefficient, the coefecient determineted, the testing of hypotheses.
Based on the results of research we can conclude the simultaneously, the are significant
influence jointly (simultaneous) of motivation and discipline work against the employee
performance. Partial evaluation, the result of the study show that the variable motivation
influential significantly on variables the employee performance, variable working discipline
influential in significant on variable the employee performance.

ABSTRAK


Faktor motivasi memegang peranan yang amat penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja
pegawai. Motivasi menjadi pendorong seseorang melaksanakan suatu kegiatan guna
mendapatkan hasil yang terbaik. Motivasi kerja yang diberikan instansi dalam upaya
meningkatkan kinerja pegawai yang berupa gaji, ruang kerja, suasana kerja, kemampuan dalam
bekerja, dan hubungan antara atasan atau bawahan yang baik dapat memotivasi pegawai yang
baik dalam meningkatkan kinerja mereka.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja
terhadap kinerja pegawai Museum Geologi Bandung.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dimana populasi diambil
dari pegawai Museum Geologi Bandung, sampel yang diambil sebanyak 38. Analisis data
melalui uji validitas dan uji reabilitas. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan analisis regresi
berganda, koefisien korelasi, koefisien determinasi, penguji hipotesis.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara simultan terdapat pengaruh
yang signifikan secara bersama-sama (simultan) dari motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja
pegawai. Secara parsial, hasil penelitian variable kinerja pegawai, variable disiplin kerja
berpengaruh secara tidak signifikan terhadap variable kinerja pegawai.
