Analisis Kandungan Mineral Besi, Tembaga, dan Seng Pada Cacing Tanah Fridericia sp. Secara Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom

ANALISIS MINERAL BESI, TEMBAGA DAN SENG
PADA CACING TANAH Fridericia sp. SECARA
SPEKTROFOTOMETRI SERAPANATOM
mg/100 g. Hasil uji persen recovery diperoleh besi sebesar 110,02%, tembaga
sebesar 92,49 % dan seng sebesar 93,68 %. LOD untuk besi, tembaga dan seng

masing-masing sebesar 0,120 µg/ml, 0,041 µg/ml dan 0,159 µg/ml. LOQ untuk
besi, tembaga dan seng masing-masing sebesar 0,401 µg/ml, 0,137 µg/ml dan
0,530 µg/ml. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cacing tanah (Fridericia
sp.) mengandung mineral besi, tembaga dan seng.
Kata kunci : Cacing tanah Fridericia sp., besi, tembaga, seng, spektrofotometri

ANALYSIS OF IRON, COPPER and ZINC in the
EARTHWORM Predisia sp. BY ATOMIC ABSORPTION
SPECTROPHOTOMETRY
ABSTRACT
Species earthworm (Predisia sp.) is Indonesia’s natural resources that
seem weak and disgusting as though it has no benefit, but observed and
studied, this low level animal actually has many benefits for humans. One of
the benefit in the field of Pharmacy, is as anti-bacterial, antipyretic, typhoid,
and stroke drugs, and heart condition due to thrombosis. Earthworms can
accumulate metals existing in soil in rather high concentrations. The purpose of

this study was to determine the content of iron, copper and zinc in the
eartworm’s body.
The earthworm used for sample was species earthworm (Predisia sp).
The determination of content in the species predicia (earthworms) was
conducted using acetylene air atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The
quantitative analysis of iron, copper ans zinc was performed at a wavelength of
248.33 nm for iron, 324.75 nm for copper and wavelength 213.90 nm for zinc.
The results of study indicated that eartworms (Predisia sp.) contained
iron (488.7304 ± 25.9709) µg/g, Copper (15.8747 ± 0.6186) µg/g and zinc
(106.5247 ± 3.6357) µg/g. The results of validation test for the atomic
absorption spectrophotometric method used for quantitative analysis showes %
recovery of iron at 110.02%, copper at 92.47% and zinc at 93.68%. limit of
detection for iron, copper and zinc, respectively to 0.120 µg/ml, 0.041 µg/ml
and 0.159 µg/ml. Limit of quantitation for iron, copper and zinc respectively
0.401 µg/ml, 0.137 µg/ml and 0.530 µg/ml. The results showed that species
earthworm (Fridericia sp) containing iron, copper and zinc.
Keywords : Predisia sp., iron, copper, zinc, atomic absorption
